00:07the Philippine National Police will serve as the outer shield that guards the heart of the republic on this truly auspicious occasion.
00:14And the nation's top cop has been duly apprised of a 12,000-strong deployment
00:18to provide the president and his guests safety and security they need all throughout.

00:25The Philippine National Police or PNP ensured that security is in place for the upcoming State of the Nation Address or SONA of President Ferdinand Marquez Jr.
00:36According to PNP spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo, PNP Chief, Police General Nicolás Torre III,
00:43met with the heads of the National Capital Region Police Office and the five district directors of NCR regarding the deployment of personnel.
00:50May mga few questions lang po ang ating PNP with respect to their deployment.
00:56So they will be making some or at least few adjustments with respect doon po sa mga deployment,
01:04including po yung mga locations na dapat pong bantayan po.
01:07Mga more or less 12,000 po ma'am ang i-deploy po for SONA,
01:13kasama na po dyan yung mga madideploy within the vicinity po ng House of Representatives.
01:19The PNP will also meet with the surgeon at arms of the House of Representatives to discuss security protocols inside and outside the chamber.
01:27For the President's fourth SONA, the PNP will once again activate Task Force Manila Shield to guard the borders entering Metro Manila.
01:35Kapag kami mga ganitong major events po sa Metro Manila ay yung ini-implement po natin yung Manila Shield,
01:41kung saan yung Police Regional Office 3 and Police Regional 4A po ay mag-tutulong po sa atin para pantayan din po yung ating mga border controls.
01:50Fajardo stressed that they will strictly enforce the no permit, no rally policy.
01:55In connection with this, Fajardo said they have not yet received any permit to rally from any group.
02:00The PNP also ensured that pro and anti-rally groups will be stationed in separate areas during the President's SONA to avoid any trouble.
02:09Normally po saan, yan po naman ang ating ini-implement na no permit, no rally, dahil may Freedom Park naman po, nandiyan po yung Quezon City Circle.
02:18But normally alam po natin yan na yung mga, particularly yung mga anti-government rallies po,
02:24ang normally ang kanila pong assembly area, it's either the UP Diliman or doon po sa Maycoa area and then magmamarch off po sila.
02:32But definitely, katulad po nung ginagawa natin na normally ay hanggang doon lamang po sila sa tandanso kapapayagan po na probably magsagawa po na kanilang programa.
