Senator Risa Hontiveros filed before the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Wednesday, July 9, cyber libel complaints against former Senate witness Michael Maurillo and six vloggers over allegations that she forced persons to testify against Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Apollo Quiboloy.

00:00Senator Giza Ontiveros has filed a cyber libel complaint before the Department of Justice against Michael Murillo over allegations that he was forced to testify against Pastor Apolo Quiboloy.
00:17Ontiveros filed two separate complaints accusing the respondents of libel under Article 355 of the revised penal code.
00:24She also filed complaints against six vloggers namely Ferdinand Topasho, Byron Cristobal alias Banatbay, Jeffrey K. Eric Celis, Crisette Kipichu, Jason Zah, and Alex Destor alias Tio Moreno.
00:40Ontiveros said she filed the complaints because the respondents either uploaded videos or helped spread false claims against her.
00:48The Senators said that it is a systematic and intentional attack against the witnesses who had the courage to tell the truth.
00:57Last July 2, Ontiveros filed a complaint affidavit before the National Bureau of Investigation against Murillo and Pagtanggol Valiente, the uploader of the viral video.
01:08In the video, Murillo accused Ontiveros of paying him 1 million pesos to allegedly fabricate testimonies against Quiboloy, former President Rodrigo Duterte, and Vice President Sara Duterte.
