00:00Any questions?
00:01Yes?
00:02Yes, sir.
00:03You just said that you're not happy with Vladimir Putin.
00:04Is there anything that you plan to do to act on that feeling of unhappiness?
00:07Well, I wouldn't be telling you.
00:09Don't we want to have a little surprise?
00:10You know, one of the things we did with the attack is that — you asked that question
00:16and I wish — I didn't mean to be rude, but I'm going to be rude because I'm looking
00:20at some of these crooked people up here.
00:22So I'm rude.
00:23But your question was asked very nicely.
00:25But one of the things we did is we went over every fact.
00:30We wanted to get every fact straight.
00:32We wanted to have the distance straight, the number of pilots straight — everything
00:35had to be correct because we want to be — this was a very important mission.
00:40If we failed on this mission, it was beyond the war that, you know, obviously we had with
00:48Iran and Israel and a lot of hatred, a lot of years and years of hatred — centuries
00:53of hatred.
00:55They've never — people have never seen anything like it.
00:58So we wanted to be correct with all our facts.
01:00So, you know, what I was doing is just asking — it would be great if — if the media would
01:06be correct with their facts.
01:08That's all we ask for.
01:09So — and go ahead.
01:10So finish it up.
01:11Oh, yes.
01:12Just sort of turning back to Russia, if there's anything that you would signal about your displeasure
01:18with them?
01:19I just — look, I'm very unhappy with them.
01:21There's no reason for this.
01:24It's — it's turned out to be tougher, but it's — it's only tougher.
01:29And I will say, the Ukrainians were brave, but we gave them the best equipment ever made.
01:35We gave them the anti-tankbusters that knocked out tanks.
01:41I mean, you just aim them in the direction of the tank, and the tank is gone.
01:46We gave them missiles, the latest and the greatest.
01:51They were able to shoot down a lot of things that would have normally wiped out — you
01:55know, probably would have been a very quick war.
01:57It would have been a war that lasted three, four days.
01:59But they had the benefit of unbelievable equipment.
02:02And Europe gave them — so we gave them far more, because Biden shouldn't have done that.
02:07He should have equalized.
02:08We should have given them the same, or we should have given actually less than Europe.
02:12It affects Europe much more than us.
02:13But we're in there for over $300 billion.
02:16Europe's in there for over $100 billion.
02:19But still, Europe gave a lot.
02:21And I will say this.
02:23The Ukrainians, whether you think it's unfair that we gave them all that money or not,
02:28they were very brave, because somebody had to operate that stuff.
02:31A lot of people I know wouldn't be operating it, and they wouldn't have the courage to do it.
02:34So they fought very bravely.
02:35But we gave them the best equipment in the world.
02:40We make the best military equipment by far.
02:42There's nobody close.
02:43You look at other equipment from other countries, it's not even close.
02:46That's why everybody wants to buy our equipment.
02:49And that's why we're going to step up these contractors now that make it.
02:53And they're brilliant, but they make it too slowly.
02:56And we have to step them up, Pete, and let them make it at a much higher rate.
03:01Unfortunately, we have to do that.
03:03But if you look at our Patriots, if you look at our Tomahawks, if you look at our,
03:08well, what we do with tanks is you wouldn't want to be driving a tank.
03:13You would feel nice and secure.
03:15But they are javelins, they're called.
03:18And I gave them the javelins.
03:20Remember, they said Trump gave the javelins and Obama gave them sheets.
03:25Right?
03:26They called Obama at that time.
03:29Barack Hussein Obama, if you haven't heard, did a terrible job.
03:32But that was a war that should have never happened.
03:36And a lot of people are dying, and it should end.
03:39And I don't know, we get a lot of bullshit thrown at us by Putin,
03:44if you want to know the truth.
03:46He's very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.
03:50Do you want to say something, then?
03:52Lindsey Graham has a sanctions bill on Russia.
03:54Do you want him to move that?
03:55I'm looking at it, yeah.
03:56No, I'm looking.
03:57The Senate is passing and passed a very tough sanctions bill.
04:01Yeah, I'm looking at it.
04:02Can you sign that?
04:03It's an optional bill.
04:04It's totally at my option.
04:05They pass it totally at my option and to terminate totally at my option.
04:10And I'm looking at it very strongly.
04:12Yesterday, .
