00:00In La Rinconada, near Seville, Spain,
00:05a new training center is shaping the next generation of aerospace professionals.
00:30These students are part of a growing number of people aiming for careers
00:37in the aerospace industry. Centers like this give them the practical skills and knowledge
00:42to help make those ambitions a reality.
00:47Just one year after opening its doors, the Javier Imbroda Public Integrated Vocational Training Center
00:53has already trained hundreds of young people for careers in the aerospace industry.
00:58With direct access to aircraft machinery, models and hands-on tools,
01:03students from all walks of life are able to move directly from the classroom
01:07to the shop floors of the industry.
01:10I think that's the most notable because in a middle grade, in a FP,
01:14like what I'm studying, you'll get a lot of experience
01:19and you'll be able to work in the labor world.
01:23I've always wanted to change because I've been a bit tired.
01:26I've been working for many years in the forest sector.
01:29This school is also giving us an opportunity to people of my age,
01:34who are more and who have already a marked life.
01:38This training center is the largest educational infrastructure project in Andalusia in recent years.
01:45It is part of a broader €99.4 million initiative funded by the European Social Fund Plus,
01:51aimed at strengthening dual vocational education and training throughout the southern Spanish region.
01:57In total, more than 23,500 students across Andalusia are expected to benefit from this investment by 2028.
02:07This center is going to be an extremely productive investment for the European Union.
02:14It is to say, the dedication of those European funds for the construction of this center
02:18and the equipment themselves,
02:20it is going to be a result of quality for the area and for the alumni of the area.
02:25And one thing very important is that we offer companies
02:29collaboration of other types.
02:31We don't just want to collaborate so that our students go and practice in the companies,
02:37but what we want is that those companies consider us as an ally
02:42to promote training within their companies.
02:46This school is a flagship initiative of the Pact for Skills,
02:51a European Union incentive to strengthen collaboration between education providers,
02:56local authorities, businesses and social partners.
02:59Its core mission is to address skill shortages
03:02and develop systems that enable workers to adapt effectively to evolving industry needs.
03:08Since its launch in 2020, the Pact has helped train 6.1 million workers
03:13and is aiming to reach 25 million by 2030.
03:19The Pact for Skills is a great opportunity to be in contact
03:23both with training centers, universities throughout Europe,
03:27also with authorities and sector associations such as ours.
03:32We think that in order to strengthen the competencies of the sector,
03:35it is important that all those elements are aligned
03:39to work together and develop new competencies in the sector.
03:45The Pact for Skills is a key part of the Union of Skills,
03:49an EU initiative aimed at boosting competitiveness
03:52by helping workers gain new competencies or update existing ones
03:56with a focus on women and those in STEM fields.
03:59It also encourages the movement of these skills across Europe,
04:02a vision that gives Pablo and Sonia fresh hope for their future.
04:08A me, for example, me ilusiona a lot
04:12the issue of moving from different countries
04:14for what has given us the Institute.
04:16For that issue of practices and tools,
04:19we can end up working here and in other countries.
04:22I am very proud of what I am doing
04:26because I enjoy working with children.
04:30I also think that the school can open the doors to the future
04:35for my children so that they have a better life.
04:41As regions and countries across Europe
04:43continue to face economic challenges,
04:45this school and its network offer a new approach
04:48to training workers for the industries and economies of the future.
04:56are part of the countries.
05:00All actors can be меш.
05:02To do the world,
05:04the people who have forgotten,
05:06do the people who live in the world
05:08will watch more than the disco world.
05:09If they don't believe in other countries,
05:10the people who live in the world
05:15will watch more than the revolution.
05:17The people that show the world
05:19will create more than the world
05:21of them.
05:22Which can be the center of the world
