00:00В Ларинконаде, около Севиль, СПАЙНОЕ,
00:05новый центр тренировка
00:07направляется на следующей генерации
00:09профессионалов аэроспейса.
00:30These students are part of a growing number of people
00:36aiming for careers in the aerospace industry.
00:39Centers like this give them the practical skills and knowledge
00:42to help make those ambitions a reality.
00:47Just one year after opening its doors,
00:49the Javier Embroda Public Integrated Vocational Training Center
00:53has already trained hundreds of young people
00:55for careers in the aerospace industry.
00:58With direct access to aircraft machinery, models
01:01and hands-on tools, students from all walks of life
01:04are able to move directly from the classroom
01:07to the shop floors of the industry.
01:10I think that's the most notable
01:12because in a middle grade, in a FP,
01:14like what I'm studying,
01:16you'll get a lot of experience
01:19and you'll be able to work in the labor world.
01:22I've always wanted to have a change
01:24because I've been a bit tired.
01:26I've been working for many years in the forest sector.
01:29This school is also giving us an opportunity
01:31to people of my age,
01:34who are more and who have a life already marked.
01:38This training center is the largest
01:41educational infrastructure project in Andalusia in recent years.
01:45It is part of a broader €99.4 million initiative
01:49funded by the European Social Fund Plus,
01:51aimed at strengthening dual vocational education and training
01:55throughout the southern Spanish region.
01:57In total, more than 23,500 students across Andalusia
02:02are expected to benefit from this investment by 2028.
02:06This center is going to be an extremely productive investment
02:13for the European Union.
02:15That is, the dedication of those European funds
02:17for the construction of this center
02:18and the equipment of this center
02:19will make a leap of quality for the area
02:23and for the alumni of the area.
02:25This school is a flagship initiative of the Pact for Skills,
02:38a European Union incentive to strengthen collaboration
02:54between education providers, local authorities,
02:57businesses and social partners.
02:59Its core mission is to address skill shortages
03:02and develop systems that enable workers
03:04to adapt effectively to evolving industry needs.
03:07Since its launch in 2020,
03:10the Pact has helped train 6.1 million workers
03:13and is aiming to reach 25 million by 2030.
03:19The Pact for Skills for us is a great opportunity
03:22to be in contact both with training centers,
03:25universities throughout Europe,
03:27also with authorities and sector associations like ours.
03:32We think that to strengthen the sector competencies
03:35in the sector, it is fundamental that all those elements
03:38are aligned to work together and develop new competencies in the sector.
03:45The Pact for Skills is a key part of the Union of Skills,
03:49an EU initiative aimed at boosting competitiveness
03:52by helping workers gain new competencies or update existing ones
03:56with a focus on women and those in STEM fields.
03:59It also encourages the movement of these skills across Europe,
04:02a vision that gives Pablo and Sonia fresh hope for their future.
04:07For me, for example, it is a lot of the issue of moving from different countries
04:13for what has provided us the Institute.
04:15For that issue of practices and management of tools,
04:19we can end up working here and in other countries.
04:22I am very proud of what I am doing,
04:25because I share my work with children.
04:30I also think that the school can open the doors to the future
04:35for my children so that they have a better life.
04:41As regions and countries across Europe continue to face economic challenges,
04:45this school and its network offer a new approach to training workers
04:49for the industries and economies of the future.
