00:00The Buddha used to quote three types of horses coming from his palatial background.

00:05It seems he was fond of horses.

00:07So he would say that the worst type of horses are those that move only when spanked.

00:12And that's how our energy rises.

00:15When there is trouble, we work.

00:16When the horse is spanked, it runs.

00:19So most people necessitate trouble in order to work.

00:22If there is no trouble, they won't work at all.

00:24The worst kinds require to be beaten up.

00:26Those of the middle kind required to be shown the whip.

00:29Show the whip to them, bring the whip close to them.

00:32They then sense the danger and then they move.

00:34And then there are those of the top quality.

00:36You just go close to them, touch them, maybe gently massage them.

00:39And they know that it's time to run.

00:41They don't require to be slapped or whipped.

00:44Is it not possible that one works with some dignity?

00:47Is it necessary that the horse runs only when spanked?

00:50Is it necessary that only fear and greed and insecurity and nonsense of all kinds

00:55are able to elicit some movement from you?
