00:22hanggang sa pagbebenta ng mga ito,

00:24inirunsad ng Philippine Textile Research Institute ng DOST

00:28ang Philippine Handloom Weaving Center.

00:31Ayong kay DOST Peter I. Director Julius Lianyo,

00:34may iba't ibang function ng naturang center na inaasahang malaki ang may tutulong sa industriya.

00:39Kasama na rito ang weaving training at technical support

00:42kung saan nakapaloob dito ang basic and advanced handloom weaving,

00:46ang pagtutok sa weave design, innovation, and product,

00:49kasama na ang quality assessment at standards development.

00:51The Philippine Handloom Weaving Center po ay isang pagpupugay sa ating mga mga habi.

00:58At the center of our innovations on handloom weaving are weavers,

01:02mga magsasaka, mga patuloy na nakaugnay ang buhay at buhay sa paghahabi.

01:09Hindi lang kwento, ito ang kanilang realidad sa kanilang mga komunidad.

01:15Binigyang din naman ni Sekretary Renato Saludong Jr. na mahalaga na may nagsisirbing centro

01:20pagating sa handloom weaving.

01:21Kasi kung may centro ka, mas madaling mag-coordinate,

01:26lalong-lalong yung mga interesado na bagito,

01:29pwede silang pumunta at makita kung ano pa yung mga opportunities

01:32na pwede nila makuha out of the Philippine Tropical Fabric.

01:36Isa si Lidyan na una ng sumailaling sa training ng Peter Ay

01:39para matuto na maghabi.

01:41Kung sakali pong magkaroon kami ng center na sarili

01:45na ipagkakaloob ng ating mayor,

01:47bakit po hindi, willing po kaming mag-work po doon.

01:52Patuli naman ang pagsuporta ng pamalaan,

01:55mapalokalman o national government.

01:57So every time we hold a piece of handwoven fabric,

02:01whether it's the Inabel from Ilocos,

02:04the Tinalak from South Potabato,

02:06the Hablon or I call it Patadjong

02:08from my beloved province of Antique,

02:12I don't just see a piece of cloth.

02:14Each piece, each handwoven fabric

02:18carries the unspoken stories of our people.

02:21Use Tagig po as your model city

02:23and my commitment naman po is to deliver on our end

02:27para together we can promote yung ating pong mga local weaves

02:31in support po of this culture and tradition

02:35that is uniquely Filipino.

02:38Bukod dito, may koordination din

02:40ang Philippine Handloom Weaving Center

02:41sa iba pang mga ahensya

02:42gaya sa Department of Trade and Industry

02:44para mapalakas pa ang textile industry ng bansa.
