00:00My name is Usman Siddiqui. I'm from Shikar Purushan. I went to school mostly in Karachi and then college in America.

00:06Once I graduated there, my father and mother said to come back here, then asked me to do my CSS.

00:10So I studied for CSS and I passed CSS at a very young age of 21, one of the youngest officers in my batch.

00:17You have probably seen D.I.G. Usman Siddiqui in the headlines, cracking down on crimes, leading raids.

00:24But there is a side to him you have likely never seen. Let's take you there.

00:30The man behind me sizzling on the grill are Mexican tacos and the man behind the cart, none other than D.I.G. Usman Siddiqui himself.

00:44By the day, he fights crime. By night, he cooks a flavor.

00:49We started in 2022 with the Karachi Eat Festival. So we made these tacos at home and they turned out to be really nice.

00:54We made a lot of sales. Then people started bombarding our Instagram page.

01:00Then we got into catering. We catered to a few events and that turned out to be really nice as well.

01:04Delivering your bus and we got into this food truck business.

01:15Initially, it was all us who were setting it up. Me, my kids and my wife.

01:19So we used to drive the raksha ourselves. We used to wait on orders ourselves. I mean, I got you myself.

01:23Yeah. So basically, we used to be a little hands-on involved.

01:29Me and Usman both tried this recipe 100 times to come closer to Mexican food.

01:37So it was Usman who told me, yes, this is the final product and this is how it's going to be like.

01:44Because he's a foodie and I listened to him and we try out new recipes.

01:48So this is how we came up.

01:50It's actually really good. It's what you call the flavors are really good.
