Footage shared on Chinese social media shows the Hongqi-29 (HQ-29), China’s latest and most advanced missile defence system, on the move.
The system was spotted being transported along national roads, suggesting either ongoing tests or operational deployment.
According to sources from the @china3army Telegram channel, the HQ-29 marks a major strategic step in China’s defence capabilities, as the first mobile Chinese platform capable of intercepting intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBMs), and even hypersonic missiles during their mid-course phase.
