02:49There are indeed giant robots to be found, but rest assured, you'll see just as many

02:53thigh gaps as cockpits.

02:54To say this was a hilarious breath of fresh air would be an understatement.

03:20After all, how many anime do you know that feature giant robots, crazy visuals, absurd

03:26humor, along with a touching and sizzling romance between the giant robots and the pilots?

03:42The only thing better than watching Braven blast his way through the death-drive threat is seeing

03:46him and Isami try to navigate the waters of their oddly erotic relationship.

03:59It's as bizarre as it sounds, yet there's something oddly sincere about seeing these

04:06It simply puts a spin on the phrase, get in the robots.

04:13For many, this is the lewd grail of smutty harem trash, one that takes every beloved cliché

04:25and sprinkles it with a sci-fi academy setting, plenty of romance options, and nearly every

04:37excuse in the book for its leading ladies to somehow keep losing their clothes.

04:41As the only male capable of using the titular Infinite Stratos in battle, Ichika finds himself enrolled

04:48into an all-girls battle academy, where the curriculum seems to only consist of wearing

04:53mech suits and picking up a new love interest each day.

05:13Not that he isn't spoiled for choice, gotta love it when a series embraces the stupidity

05:18and the spiciness in equal measure.

05:21Got an R. Somebody grab a fan because things are about to go up a level.

05:41A love story focused on an engaged couple who are both mecha pilots might sound like a change

05:47of pace.

05:48But between battling evil beasts created via crazy hormones and every female character

05:53having the most absurd jiggle physics, it's clear where the priorities of this show lie,

05:58and that's likely the cleavage of its female roster.

06:04Widely entertaining and saturated in salaciousness, the biggest curveball is that such a chest-centric

06:10anime happens to have one of the most baller mecha designs ever.

06:19Do you like your super sentai with an excessive amount of honkers?

06:36Do you want your Megazord transformation sequences to be paired with so much nudity you're left

06:49The plot is standard fare, with the likes of a generic chosen one joining a well-funded

06:54organization set on stopping an intergalactic threat by means of giant robots that confuse

06:59together Voltron-style.

07:00Of course, with the likes of someone like Mizuki Tachibana parading around with her gravity-defying

07:06endowments, it's easy to forget why this show even has robots.

07:11No one does fan service quite like Trigger, and in typical fashion, the mad lads wove it

07:28into the narrative of this divisive rendition of war, sexuality, and giant robots.

07:39And that's mainly down to the likes of Zero too, who is utterly unafraid when it comes

07:43to showering her beloved darling with affection, naked or otherwise.

07:47Tonally, it's got some truly bleak moments, and certainly has more maturity and a stricter

07:53sense of storytelling compared to some of the other entries on this list.

07:57Then again, it also relies on its characters assuming the downward dog position in order

08:02to properly pilot their mech, so take that how you will.

08:06I mean, I like the thing that I love.
