00:22 Number 10, Shimaneta - A boring place where the concept of dirty jokes doesn't exist.

00:44 decide to fight the power by getting down and freaky.

00:49 That's really all you need to know to understand why Shimaneta needs to be watched with headphones.

01:01 The show's premise is really just an excuse to justify all sorts of weird, spicy and borderline

01:07 dodgy romantic behaviour.

01:09 You'll have to take our word for it when we say you are not ready for everything Shimaneta

01:14 throws at you - especially since it constantly reminds you that these characters should not

01:19 be doing that on television.

01:30 Number 9, Onara Goro - Ever wanted to watch a show about a sentient fart?

01:41 Yeah, we don't either.

01:43 Despite that, someone somewhere decided it was worth real life resources to make Onara

01:48 Goro.

01:50 It stars the so-called "most admirable of farts" as he puffs in and out of situations

01:56 to offer sagely life advice.

01:59 However, it's pretty hard to take it seriously when it's coming from a living stink ball.

02:11 Onara Goro cuts the cheese across a mind-numbing 13 episodes.

02:19 Each one is more bizarre than the last, if you can believe it.

02:23 For what it's worth, the show does make you think - mainly about who in their right

02:27 mind thought this was a good idea.

02:48 When fans asked for an intimate romance anime, it's safe to say that they didn't have

02:53 this in mind.

02:54 To be fair, on paper, there isn't anything inherently off about "Makura no Dashi".

03:00 Every episode is a small vignette about dating a new guy.

03:03 The catch is that the entire anime is presented through a first-person point of view.

03:09 That's right, you, the audience, are a self-insert here.

03:18 But when the guys take long pauses to massage you or listen to your problems, it comes across

03:24 as more uncomfortable than anything else.

03:27 "Makura no Dashi" definitely gets points for creativity, but you're better off getting

03:32 your romance fix somewhere else.

03:38 Warning, this show is not as innocent as it appears.

03:54 It looks a lot like "Hamtaro", another anime about a hamster going on light-hearted

04:32 It's scary to think of a kid turning on Ebichu, expecting a wholesome tale, and getting…

05:05 Not because it's filled with spoilers, but because it's so nonsensical, we'd be here

05:19 If you squint, you can kind of see "Gakuen Handsome" as a parody of other slice-of-life

05:24 series, but that doesn't matter when it abandons any kind of internal logic in favour

05:29 of some crazy jokes.

05:30 At the very least, "Gakuen Handsome" is so unapologetically silly, it actually comes

05:35 around to being great again.

05:37 And of course, we're all in awe of those ludicrously-sized gins.

05:45 Do you love your mom and her two-hit multi-target attacks?

05:49 Like your standard isekai series, Masato is an everyday teen who gets whisked away to

05:54 another world.

05:56 This time, though, he goes with his mother, Mamako.

06:09 Don't worry, you can't miss her.

06:10 Her endowments fill up half the screen.

06:13 For some reason, "Do You Love Your Mom?" really loves to remind Masato of just how

06:18 voluptuous his mother is, no matter how painfully awkward it gets.

06:22 And it gets really, really awkward.

06:33 Like hot spring shenanigans and other romance anime tropes.

06:37 Watching a mother and son reconnect should never make you feel icky inside, but coming

06:41 from a show like this, we shouldn't even be surprised.

07:06 Man Haruka just can't keep it in his pants.

07:09 After being orphaned and left to take care of his little sister, Sora, he decides the

07:14 best way to grieve is to start dating.

07:16 A lot.

07:18 Yosuga no Sora devotes a few episodes to each of Haruka's romantic exploits.

07:23 They're all lewd, overly sappy and hyper-dramatic, but they can't touch what happens between

07:28 him and his sister.

07:35 Let's just say, their relationship ends up going well beyond your average sibling

07:43 affection.

07:44 Yes, they even go all the way.

07:46 It's hard to say how something this scandalous ever made it to air, or that it lasted an

07:52 entire 12-episode season.

08:01 Musashi Gundo

08:11 There isn't much to say about Musashi Gundo that you can't see for yourself.

08:15 The anime aired when it was clearly unfinished, earning a whole lot of fan attention for all

08:20 the wrong reasons.

08:22 The animation wasn't just bad, it was flat-out unacceptable for a show on broadcast television.

08:31 They used live-action photos for backgrounds, the sound effects were frequently out of sync,

08:50 and the characters spent more time off-model than on it.

08:53 It's a shame the production was rushed out the door, because with a bit more time, Musashi

08:59 Gundo could have been a completely solid action shounen.

09:02 Instead, it's remembered as one of the worst-looking shows to ever air on TV.

09:20 Keiaru is supposed to be the honoured healing hero, but not even he can fix our eyes after

09:33 watching this.

09:34 Apparently, he can't remedy his own trauma either.

09:37 After suffering years of mental, physical, and worse torment, Keiaru goes back in time

09:43 to get revenge on his worst enemies.

09:54 Many found the violent narrative way too gratuitous for broadcast viewing, and that's without

09:59 mentioning the bedroom scenes.

10:01 To give you an idea of how far it goes, "Redo of Healer" is the kind of show that had

10:06 to air with a content warning attached.

10:08 It can be very hard to watch at times.

10:37 Buckle up, everyone.

10:47 This is "Inter-Species Reviewers", a show that completely blurs the lines between anime

10:53 and a very different kind of adult animation.

10:56 It features a guy called Stunk, who wants to try out every single species in bed.

11:01 That's the whole plot.

11:03 As you can imagine, "Inter-Species Reviewers" gets incredibly racy.

11:07 So racy, in fact, that it was yanked off Japanese airwaves partway through its scheduled broadcast.

11:23 That's not all.

11:24 Its English dub got cancelled, and the show was removed from most streaming services too.

11:30 Considering the content, it's a miracle the remaining episodes of "Inter-Species

11:34 Reviewers" ever saw the light of day.

11:36 But we are grateful for it.
