National Equestrian League Competition Held In Coimbatore

00:00Hi, this is Vaati. I am director of E-France Coach India Federation.

00:05So, my husband, Mr. Shakti Balaji, is the founder of E-France Coach India Federation.

00:09So, this is the first ever show jumping league in India.

00:13It is a historic moment for all of us. We have here around 5,500 crowd.

00:17We are very happy to have such a crowd here in India for the first time.

00:21So, we are having six different teams from six different states throughout India.

00:26We are having 16 and 6 players participating today.

00:30So, they will be having a show jumping event.

00:33So, they will be crossing fences from number 1 to 8 or 9 or 10.

00:38So, they will have to cross the fence and then complete the fence.

00:41Once they complete all the fences, they will have a clear round.

00:44In case if any pole falls down, it will be a knock off and they will have falls.

00:47So, whoever completes the entire round without any pole dropping down,

00:52they will be qualifying for the podium.

00:55Throughout India, the same room, this is called a show jumping event.

00:59So, throughout India, this is the room.

01:01Even outside India, any show jumping event, both in India, outside India, the rooms are the same.

01:07The rider has to move the clear round without dropping the pole.

01:10So, we are very happy that so many events which are happening internationally,

01:15we have brought it to India and that too in Tamil Nadu.

01:17And we are very happy to have the first season in Klamath.

01:20We have six teams.

01:21So, six teams from different parts of India.

01:24We have Banklore Knight, Goldcanda Chargers, Chennai Bilt, LIT Questions, Quantum Brains and another team.

01:32So, all the six teams have six players.

01:34They all have come throughout India.

01:36The players will be selected based on their capability.

01:39Each team owner can select the players.

01:41We have the top horses in India and top horses that have performed even internationally.

01:47And we have the best riders.

01:49Three of the riders who are participating have participated in Ocean Games.

01:53And we have a mentor who is an Olympian who has participated for India, representing India.
