Fireworks light up Washington D.C. for Independence Day
Fireworks explode over Washington, D.C. on July 4, 2025, as the US celebrates Independence Day. Morgan, a 21-year-old spectator from Virginia who did not provide her last name, said the fireworks were better than last year and liked the ending. Forty-six-year-old Serhii Pavlov, originally from Ukraine, said it was his first time in Washington, D.C. and he was witnessing the fireworks after receiving his U.S. citizenship two weeks earlier. 'Best fireworks in my life… haven't seen anything like that ever in my life,' said Pavlov.
