Tamenglong / Churachandpur (Manipur), 05 July, ANI : The tribal community in Manipur plays a key role in preserving the state’s rich cultural and indigenous heritage. To support them, the government under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, launched the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJUA), aimed at delivering welfare schemes, education, healthcare, and livelihood services directly to their doorsteps. In Tamenglong, a town in the Naga Hills of Manipur, the campaign made a strong impact as the Duigailong Baptist Church Community Hall was transformed into a vibrant hub of government services. Twenty departments came together to offer health cards, PM-Kisan registrations, Jan Dhan accounts, scholarships, and more — bringing essential support to villagers without them having to travel. Similar camps were held in Churachandpur, a vibrant Kuki-Zo-dominated region, with a clear mission: leave no eligible beneficiary behind. In a powerful show of convergence, departments like Health, Social Welfare, Education, Agriculture, Forest, and IT joined forces to deliver vital services—from free health check-ups and Aadhaar updates to ration card renewals and skill training enrollments—all under one roof, right within the community.
