00:00Jake, I absolutely need to give you right of reply briefly before we move on.
00:05If you could just respond to our Jake.
00:10Sure. I mean, Jake, we haven't spoken before and you seem like a nice guy.
00:13It's almost like sometimes I get the feeling that we could go out for a beer and we could end up agreeing
00:16and then suddenly you pull out something and I'm like, wow, where did that come from?
00:20I speak for the world and Israel's always shocked because they live in a different reality.
00:24They're like, in their reality...
00:26Cenk, just let Jake respond, Jake, because we're going to need to move on, Jake, so just let Jake respond.
00:32Cenk, you gave me a cute line about not talking over you, so why don't you try not talking over me?
00:36I think that if we just narrow down to this idea of genocide, I mean, just because I know you want to move on.
00:42Just this one point. I mean, if Israel really wanted to commit a genocide with all the military might that it has,
00:49it could have been over in Gaza in about half an hour.
00:52They could have carpet bombed it, they could have dropped, you know, serious weaponry, serious bombs,
00:57and killed everybody within half an hour.
00:59They didn't do that.
01:00And they didn't do that because they went house to house trying to evacuate civilians,
01:04clean out Hamas without killing civilians as much as they could.
01:07And the tragic, awful loss of civilian life has been less proportionately in Gaza
01:13than it's been in all other conflicts around the world.
01:15Israel's been doing a wonderful job in trying to keep those down,
01:19although I completely accept and will be the first to say
01:22that every single innocent death is a total tragedy.
01:25I'm not wanting to be glib about that at all.
01:29If you had.
01:30By the end of the night.
