Neo-retro models hit the global market in summer 2025, focusing on Europe and North America
Suzuki Motor Corporation officially introduced its latest street bikes, the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT, on Friday, July 4. These new models will make their global debut in the summer of 2025, with a primary focus on the European and North American markets. They combine Suzuki’s classic spirit with state-of-the-art technology.
With their neo-retro design, both motorcycles pay tribute to Suzuki’s legendary models while incorporating modern engine performance, electronics, and chassis design. The bikes feature round headlights inspired by vintage Suzuki models and Suzuki’s first handlebar-end mirrors, striking a balance between classic aesthetics and contemporary style.
Powered by the proven 776 cm³ parallel-twin engine also used in the GSX-8S and GSX-8R, the new bikes offer both lightweight agility and responsive handling. The frame is built with high-rigidity steel and a lightweight aluminum swingarm, and the electronics package includes advanced systems such as the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), ride-by-wire throttle, bi-directional quick-shifter, and a lithium-ion battery by ELIIY Power, which ensures high reliability and excellent startability even in low temperatures.
