00:20These are not your regular combat helicopters.
00:22These are battle-tested beasts used by the US in some of the world's most intense war zones.
00:27The Apache AH-64E, also known as the Guardian, is loaded with firepower.
00:33We are talking Hellfire missiles, 70mm rockets and a 30mm chain gun.
00:38An advanced radar that can lock onto 128 targets at once.
00:42It can fly at nearly 280 km per hour, withstand enemy fire and still keep hunting.
00:48This isn't the first time these flying tanks have proven their worth.
00:51Apache helicopters let the US assault into Baghdad during the Iraq war in March 2003.
00:56Provided air cover in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2021 and struck ISIS targets in Syria from 2014 to 2019 with pinpoint precision.
01:05They have also been part of operations in the Gulf in 1991, Libya in 2011 and more.
01:11Now with these helicopters and India's arsenal, our armed forces are getting a major boost.
01:14These advanced gunships will be based in Jodhpur to bolster combat readiness along the Pakistan border, supporting ground forces where the IAF may not be available.
