00:00Diogo Jota's final journey ends in tragedy. Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has died in a fatal car crash in Spain at the age of 28.
00:08The accident occurred at 12.30 a.m. near Serna Diaz Amora on the A52 motorway.
00:13According to the Spanish Civil Guard, Jota's Lamborghini suffered a tire blowout while overtaking another vehicle,
00:19wheeled off the road and caught fire.
00:21Tragically, Jota was not alone. His 26-year-old brother Andre, a football for FC Peña Fiel, was also in the car and died at the scene.
00:28No other vehicles were involved. Emergency services responded swiftly, but were unable to save either man.
