Hooded Horse und Amplitude Studios haben die Last Lords als vierte Fraktion für Endless Legend 2 enthüllt. Diese staubsaugenden Vampire, einst Adelige von Auriga, fliehen vor einem Fluch, der ihre Seelen in Rüstungen bindet. Ihr Überleben hängt vom Sammeln von Staub ab, um neue Lords zu erwecken und ihre Existenz zu sichern.      Die Last Lords sind die Weiterentwicklung der Broken Lords aus Teil 1. Sie interagieren einzigartig mit kleinen Fraktionen: Sie können Steuern erheben, die Bevölkerung zur Arbeit nutzen oder deren Lebensenergie entziehen, um mächtige Primordials zu beleben. Ihre Armeen sind widerstandsfähig und heilen sich, wenn Einheiten in ihrer Nähe sterben . Obwohl zu Beginn anfällig, entfalten sie ihre volle Dominanz im späteren Spielverlauf.      Endless Legend 2 erscheint am 7. August 2025 im Early Access für PC, wir haben es schon gespielt und für gut befunden .

00:19an ancient curse turned the last lords into spirits trapped in their armor

00:24who must train others to feed themselves.

00:26Their ancestral home on the planet Auriga has been lost to Cataclysm,

00:32but the last lords escaped their icy fate by taking to the stars.

00:37When they arrived, they found a nostal ocean planet instead of a dust-rich desert,

00:43and only few of their number walked from their interstellar slumber.

00:47Now, they must find a way to restore the rest of their people,

00:52and either find a way to cure their curse or embrace their vampiric nature.

00:56As beings of pure dust, the last lords do not consume food and cannot harvest it,

01:03nor does their population grow naturally.

01:06Instead, they can use dust to instantly create more last lords in their cities.

01:14The last lords also rule over minor faction in a unique way,

01:19establishing lords' estates in their villages to tax them

01:23or send their population to work in their cities.

01:26If necessary, this population can be drained to fuel the resurrection of more last lords.

01:33Alternately, they can turn villages into soul repositories

01:38to revive more powerful primordial last lords.

01:43The armies of the lords are exceptionally tough,

01:46as they will heal every time a unit dies near them.

01:50The stalwarts can weather anything thrown at them,

01:53as they leech the life from their foes.

01:56Meanwhile, their bishops and the dust lords mounted on flying beasts,

02:01laid curses on the enemy and devastated the lions.
