DILG chief Remulla's request for authority to suspend classes under study--Malacanang

Malacañang on July 3, 2025 says it will study the request of Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla to be granted the power to declare the suspension of classes during tropical cyclones and other disasters. Local governments currently have the authority over class suspensions.
