Businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang on Thursday, July 3, filed raps against Julie “Dondon” Patidongan alias “Totoy” who accused him as the mastermind behind the abduction of several cockfight watchers (sabungeros) between April 2021 and January 2022.

00:22Ang and his legal counsel, Attorney Lorna Capunan arrived at the Mandaluyong City Prosecutor's Office
00:28to file charges against Patidongan and Alan Bantiles, alias Brown.
00:33These charges are attempted robbery with violence and intimidation, grave threat, grave coercion, incrimination against innocent persons, and slander.
00:45Ang earlier said in a statement that he would file charges against Patidongan and Bantiles
00:50for repeatedly implying his alleged involvement in the case of the missing sabongeros.
00:55He added that these accusations have tarnished his dignity and reputation, causing anxiety and stress to his family.
01:04In an interview with GMA News, Totoy revealed the alleged connection of Ang and other prominent personalities
01:11to the disappearance of the sabongeros in various cockfight arenas and their homes in Manila, Laguna, Batangas, and Bulacan.
01:19He added that all of these men were already dead and their bodies were allegedly buried in Taal Lake in Batangas.
