Police are investigating an incident where three drivers allegedly blocked traffic along the Senawang–Ayer Keroh stretch of the North-South Expressway near the Pedas-Linggi R&R.

The act, which has gone viral in a 28-second video, is being probed under multiple laws for reckless driving and traffic obstruction.

00:00Police are investigating an incident in which three drivers allegedly brought traffic to
00:06a standstill along the Senawang-Ayer Kero stretch of the north-south expressway.
00:12Rembau OCPD Superintendent Hassani alias Hashim Husin said the incident, which occurred
00:17near the southbound Perdaslinghi RNR, is being taken seriously as it endangers the safety
00:23of road users, especially on a major expressway.
00:27He stressed that obstructing traffic not only violates the law but also poses a serious
00:32risk of fatal accidents.
00:34The case is being investigated under Section 279 of the Penal Code for Reckless Driving,
00:41Section 341 for Wrongful Obstruction, and Section 48 of the Road Transport Act for parking or
00:47leaving a vehicle in a manner likely to cause undue inconvenience to other road users.
00:54Lieutenant Hassani urged witnesses to come forward and assist the investigation by contacting
00:59Investigating Officer Inspector Noor Fathia Akdila Ishak at 019-799-2519.
