00:08One of our last long stays for this year was in the state of Elisco.
00:13We managed to explore a little of the state as we chose to just relax in this small town of Largos de Moreno.
00:21We enjoyed our stay here as well as most places we were at in Mexico.
00:31As we made our way to El Centro, of course we were distracted from all the historical
00:37buildings and churches, so we ended up taking a detour.
00:51How are you?
01:08Iب?

01:10When you came apart from, you saw a tattyes blackそう as were weird.
01:12The island was siellä, so many buildings, but I never helped rather than En gate stores who
01:14were, and the tonic Unficient animals ended.

01:21It's a cultural center, just about a block southeast of Centro is Casa de la Cultura.
01:49Also in this area is the plaza with plenty of space once again to relax in.
02:17There's a wall.
02:23There's what?
02:25See how pretty it is?
02:27What?
02:29No.

03:29One of our favorite places to pick up cheese and honey was at Castle Thompson.
03:47Just about five blocks to the east of El Centro.
03:52If you have a need for cheese I would recommend dropping in.
04:01Even the local honey is good.
04:08Of course we made a new friend just on the outside of the shop.
04:16We had fell in love with this small town that sits close to the border of San Luis Potosi in the northeast corner of the state of Milisco.
04:31El Centro is a nice place to sit and enjoy the afternoon with plenty of restaurants nearby and street vendors to pick up a little bite to eat all within a couple of blocks from one another.
04:38There are three large areas within the centro to sit back and relax.

04:59There are three large areas within the centro to sit back and relax.
05:04If you first talk to my women through the centre to sit back and relax.
05:29What a great place to sit and relax, enjoy the sunny days even in January and February.
05:59The daytime highs will reach around 70 to 75, overnight lows might get close to 45, still
06:05better than those 20s and below in the Midwest of the states.
06:29Just off the center is the historic cathedral of the Parochia de Nostra Senor de la Asunción.
06:48It's peaceful with the historical cathedral.
07:00If you go around to the back side of the cathedral you'll find the historical theater.
07:07We had found several nice notes that we enjoyed in this town.
07:34Or not.
07:49I'm going to go around to the back side of the cathedral.
07:56I'm going to go around to the back side of the cathedral.
08:01The cathedral is the one that is in the middle of the cathedral.
08:35Where do you want to go?
08:48Up the road to your left.
09:04Several blocks up the hill from the cathedral you'll find the temple on the hill.
09:08It really is not as far to walk as it looks.
09:13You can even drive up to it if you choose to.
09:17Traffic is fairly light in this town.
09:22While we were in this area we had a great time.
09:25Even though we didn't get out of Argos de Marino too much to explore we still managed to get
09:30to Leon which is only an hour to the south of the city over in the state of Guanajuato.
09:38We do wish that we had more time for the other areas that Jalisco has to offer.
09:44Guadalajara capital is only a few hours to the south.
09:47We are in San Miguel El Alto.
09:59Another town not too far from Largeste Marino is San Miguel El Alto.
10:04We had took a day trip here after our Airbnb host recommended it.
10:11The town itself looks to be smaller than Largeste Marino but still has the old architecture
10:16of the Spanish town with a large El Centro.
10:23Unlike most towns we did notice that there was not a church setting in El Centro but the
10:32church itself is not very far off just another block over with its own courtyard.
10:38This town also comes from precisely the new church setting in El Centro.
11:34The tombstone was used mainly in this area from local rock quarries.
12:04And it shows almost everywhere you look.
12:09You will see this pinkstone used in the buildings.
12:11This city's population is only around 30,000 compared to around 100,000 of Largo State Moreno.
12:38If you are looking for a small town to relax in, this would be it, with the proximity of
12:44the larger cities within driving distance for a day trip.
12:46You will see here in the park.
14:58San Miguel, El Alto is about 30 minutes away from Largos de Moreno.
15:11There are other small towns in the area that you may want to visit.
15:18Leon, of course, is only about an hour away.
15:21Guadalajara, the capital, is only a few hours to the southwest.
15:29And, of course, Puerto Vallarta.
15:34It is a little ways away, about six hours to Puerto Vallarta, but the other places is just
15:42a few hours away.
15:43Just to the south of Guadalajara, and a more common destination for expats is Ajijic.
15:49Leon to the south.
15:55There are so many places to visit in this area, but as our time was winding down, we went
16:03ahead and stopped in for a few days in San Luis Potosi, just a couple hours to the northeast
16:09of Largos de Moreno.
16:10Of course, this place is not in the state of Holisco, but in the state of San Luis Potosi.
16:19It is a must for us to include this in this video because of its location, just a couple
16:25hours away.
16:26The state itself has a lot to explore, and we only got to touch a single city.
16:53The main cathedral sits just off the historical center.
16:58We have other videos that have the inside of the cathedral.
17:01You might want to check those out.
17:23The other one.
17:31You guys want to check those out here?
17:35Or no?
17:35No.
17:36You guys need the last one here?
17:37Or no?
17:38No.
17:39There's a last half, but okay.
17:40Why are you talking about the chairs and of course, what's going on here?
17:51I see the first church we're here to go to.
18:03It should be somewhere around where the road is.
18:07It should be right up in here. It was on our right, right?
18:11Yeah, it's on our right and it should be around where the car is sitting.
18:16Where the road is going.
18:19We can just go straight.
18:23It's in this block here somewhere between the church on the right side.
18:33We really enjoyed the time here.
18:37Of course the city is more crowded.
18:39There's still plenty to do and plenty to see.
18:43I was not able to get into too many churches in this area.
18:49It seems like every time we ran across one there was somebody that was having a wedding.
18:55But I still managed to get into a couple.
18:57I was able to get into the cathedral around the centro and a couple other churches.
19:07Of course we had to drop by and get a little bite to eat.
19:11As we get ready to head north to the border.
19:13And our next destination.
19:15Saltillo.
19:17Okay, so I have an Oreo cookie frappe gelato.
19:21If you enjoyed this video please subscribe and help our channel out.
19:43Um, you can see.
19:47It's great.
