Family man Sam Phillips (Philip Sayer) has been missing for three years when he suddenly returns home to his son, Tony (Simon Nash), and wife, Rachel (Bernice Stegers). Though Tony has clung to the hopes of his father's return, his mother has moved on and is involved with another man. Rachel still has a place in her heart for her husband, but the love triangle is rudely interrupted when it becomes apparent that Sam's disappearance was the result of an alien abduction, and he's no longer human.

00:14:41And where did that blood come from?
00:14:43I don't know.
00:14:44From you?
00:14:46Daddy sent it.
00:14:47How did he send it?
00:14:49Dunno.
00:14:50Just felt something sticky.
00:14:52I think it's time you got some sleep.
00:14:55In the bed, then.
00:14:57Thanks, Doctor.

00:15:13There's nothing wrong with him, is there?
00:15:14He appears to be perfectly healthy.
00:15:15If he'd lost that much blood, he'd be too weak to tell us anything.
00:15:28He hasn't told us anything anyways.
00:15:30I'll test this sample, of course, but I'm quite certain it's not Tony's blood.
00:15:35Well, if it's not Tony's blood, whose is it?
00:15:38You're saying he's pulled some grotesque prank.
00:15:41Why?
00:15:42Could your husband possibly have been in contact with Tony without your knowing it?
00:15:47No.
00:15:48I think you're making a big thing out of it.
00:15:50He's a resourceful kid.
00:15:51He has a big imagination.
00:15:52He doesn't need Sam to help him come up with a trick like that.
00:15:55Joe, just stay out of this, please, will you?
00:15:57I think we can all agree that Tony has had a rather traumatic experience.
00:16:02And he does still seem to insist that his father disappeared in this bizarre manner.
00:16:06Yeah.
00:16:07He won't accept that his father ran out on him, so he has him disappear in a flash of light.
00:16:13Psychology 101.
00:16:16Mrs. Phillips, may I suggest that Tony might benefit from some professional help in this area?
00:16:21Oh, listen to me.
00:16:22Tony simply misses his father.
00:16:24He doesn't need thousands of expensive psychiatrists.
00:16:27Only little time and care.
00:16:29Hold on, Anneliese.
00:16:30Just let him finish.
00:16:31Well, it's just a suggestion.

00:16:53Oh, come on, poor thing.
00:16:54You need a rest.
00:16:55It isn't Tony.
00:16:56It's Sam.
00:16:57What do you mean?
00:16:58I mean all this nightmare business.
00:16:59It reminds you of Sam.
00:17:00And what about Joe?
00:17:01Oh, I don't know.
00:17:02I don't want to think about it.
00:17:03Okay.
00:17:04Good night.

00:17:06Night, Anneliese.

00:31:04There's a razor in the bathroom.
00:31:06I'll get you something else to wear.
00:31:10You want a drink?
00:31:12Still scotch?
00:31:14Please.
00:31:16Dad!
00:31:18Say hello to Harry.
00:31:20Hello, Harry.
00:31:22Oh, he's beautiful.
00:31:24Daddy, are you going to stay with us?
00:31:26Are you back for good?
00:31:28Yeah.
00:31:29He picked up Tony from school.
00:31:31Oh, yes.
00:31:32I'm serious.
00:31:33Well, he doesn't know.
00:31:35He's lost his memory.
00:31:38Mum said you can wear these.
00:31:40Harry's laid four eggs.
00:31:42How long before they hatch?
00:31:44Well, wait and see.
00:31:50Phew.
00:31:51That's Joe's.
00:31:52Well, how should I know?
00:31:54Joe.
00:31:55Joe, please just get over here.
00:31:57Who was that girl with you this morning?
00:31:59Oh, Annelise.
00:32:00She lives here.
00:32:01What does she do?
00:32:02She helps Mum.
00:32:03She's French.
00:32:24Better?
00:32:29Do you recognize this?
00:32:30Yes.
00:32:33I think I do.
00:32:35Sam, what's the last thing that you remember?
00:32:39The cottage.
00:32:42We were at the cottage.
00:32:43I was with Tony.
00:32:45You'd gone away.
00:32:50Then it started.
00:32:51What did?
00:32:54First this light.
00:32:55This brilliant light above me.
00:32:57I could see Tony was scared.
00:33:00He...
00:33:01He kept yelling, but I...
00:33:03I couldn't hear him.
00:33:06It was as if I was held in that light.
00:33:10And a wind.
00:33:11A strong wind.
00:33:14It was hot.
00:33:17It felt good.
00:33:18Sounds like one of Tony's stories.
00:33:22Was it you on the phone this morning?
00:33:24No.
00:33:27Joe will be back in a minute.
00:33:29Hello there, Miss Goodman.
00:33:30Oh, good evening, Mr. Daniels.
00:33:31I see you're walking up the stairs again.
00:33:32Yes.
00:33:33It helps me get to my apartment.
00:33:34Oh, so it's your apartment.
00:33:35I see Mr. Phillips is back.
00:33:37I'll miss our little talks.
00:33:38Come on, Dad.
00:33:39Rachel?
00:33:40In here, Joe.
00:33:41Who's the car?
00:33:42Shhh.
00:33:43Look, I saw it.
00:33:44Shhh.
00:33:45That one.
00:33:47Oh, Daddy.
00:33:48Well, Sam.
00:33:49How long have you been back?
00:33:51Um...
00:33:52This is still still there.
00:33:53Wow.
00:33:54I'm still not awhile.
00:33:55You, uh...
00:33:56That's right, baby.
00:33:57Can I see you?
00:33:58Good evening, Mr. Daniels.
00:33:59Hey, Mr. Daniels.
00:34:00I see you're walking up the stairs again.
00:34:02Oh, Daddy.
00:34:03Well, Sam, how long have you been back?
00:34:07Um, just today.
00:34:09Where are you staying?
00:34:11He hasn't arranged anything yet.
00:34:14Tony, time for your bath.
00:34:16I want to stay with Daddy.
00:34:17Tony.
00:34:23You're going to be around for a while.
00:34:25Or for the time being.
00:34:27What are your plans?
00:34:28Emily, Daddy's back.
00:34:29I don't know.
00:34:30I haven't got any work lined up, if that's what you mean.
00:34:33Mm, things are pretty tight.
00:34:35Won't be easy.
00:34:36I hear you're busy.
00:34:38I've been lucky.
00:34:40You know me, Sam.
00:34:41Look British.
00:34:42Think Yiddish.
00:34:43Joe, would you like a drink?
00:34:47Yeah, that'd be nice.
00:34:48Sam?
00:34:49Um, no, thanks.
00:34:53Uh, Anna Lee, keep an eye on Tony, will you?
00:34:55Okay, okay.
00:34:57So you've been, uh,
00:34:58taking care of things, have you?
00:35:01Yeah.
00:35:02Look, Sam, what do you want?
00:35:06I want to be home.
00:35:08This isn't your home anymore.
00:35:10That should be obvious.
00:35:11I'm just bringing these in.
00:35:26I can't handle this.
00:35:29Look, I don't know what to say to the guy.
00:35:30He thinks he's going to move back in.
00:35:32Well, give him time.
00:35:33Not time.
00:35:34He has had three years.
00:35:35He has got to go.
00:35:40Where could he go?
00:35:42This is the only place he's got.
00:35:43Rachel, he walked out on you.
00:35:45I don't know that he did.
00:35:46I see.
00:35:48He can't remember anything.
00:35:51That is garbage, Rachel.
00:35:53He tried something new.
00:35:54He ran away on his family.
00:35:55It didn't work out, so he comes back.
00:35:57What else do you expect him to say?
00:35:59You don't know him.
00:36:00I married him, and I lived with him.
00:36:01And now you live with me.
00:36:08I just don't trust him.
00:36:10There's no way you can do that.
00:36:20I don't trust him.
00:36:23Stop.
00:36:25office special.
00:36:34There he is.
00:36:36There he is.
00:36:37There was no way.
00:36:37There he is.
00:36:39There so were just for us.
00:36:40Tony.
00:36:46Tony!
00:36:50Tony!
00:37:10Oh, my God.
00:37:40Tony, supper time.
00:37:56Come on.
00:38:00Hurry up, darling.
00:38:04Tony, where are you?
00:38:08Tony?
00:38:10Tony?
00:38:13Joe?
00:38:15Have you seen Tony?
00:38:16Isn't he with Sam?
00:38:18Joe?
00:38:20He's taken him.
00:38:29Tony?
00:38:29Don't hide from me.
00:38:43Don't hide from me.
00:38:44What's the matter?
00:38:53You were eating Harry's eggs.
00:38:58I needed them.
00:38:59What for?
00:39:00I'm not the same as before.
00:39:04Do you remember when they took me?
00:39:06Yes.
00:39:09I went to another world.
00:39:12I had to be changed so I could live there.
00:39:15Why did they take you?
00:39:17I was lucky.
00:39:19Could have been anyone.
00:39:21Why did you come back?
00:39:24I came back for you.
00:39:27And Mom.
00:39:28Of course.
00:39:29Do you want to come with me?
00:39:33Don't be afraid.
00:39:36I'm your dad.
00:39:38You want to catch a death of code?
00:39:39You're not the best friend you are.
00:40:09Joe, we'd better call the police.
00:40:13We should never have left him alone with Tony.
00:40:15That's what he came back for.
00:40:17Come on, Dad. It's my turn.
00:40:19Come on, Dad.
00:40:23Where have you been?
00:40:25Um, we went to buy some sweets.
00:40:28Well, would you mind letting me know where you're going next time?
00:40:32Of course.
00:40:34No, you haven't done that properly.
00:40:37I haven't stopped at home.
00:40:43And now, news of fresh disasters.
00:40:46I'm speaking from the car park where only hours ago
00:40:49the hideously mutilated body of a young woman was discovered.
00:40:52One senior police officer said,
00:40:54this is an act of the most monstrous brutality.
00:40:59You look different from your picture.
00:41:01Really?
00:41:02You look much younger.
00:41:04Don't you think so, Rachel?
00:41:06I don't know.
00:41:08I haven't thought about it.
00:41:09A change is as good as a rest, right, Sam?
00:41:11Gets you back in shape.
00:41:21It is odd you arrived at this moment.
00:41:23You know Tony's been dreaming about you.
00:41:25I'm glad he hasn't forgotten about me.
00:41:27Did he tell you what happened last night?
00:41:29Yes.
00:41:30He's missed me.
00:41:33You two got along.
00:41:34Oh, very well.
00:41:35He wants you to stay, you know.
00:41:36How long will you be here?
00:41:37Well, it's not up to me.
00:41:38Not long.
00:41:39It's not up to you either.
00:41:40Please.
00:41:41As a matter of fact, it is up to me.
00:41:42Joe?
00:41:43Because Rachel's divorcing you.
00:41:44Joe, not now.
00:41:45But why not now?
00:41:46Everyone's here.
00:41:47Right.
00:41:48So I have a little announcement I'd like to make.
00:41:49Rachel and I are going to get married.
00:41:50Oh, great.
00:41:52I'm so happy for you.
00:41:53I'm so happy for you.
00:41:57Why not?
00:41:58I'm so happy.
00:41:59I'm so happy.
00:42:00I'm so happy for you.
00:42:02You two got along.
00:42:03Oh, very well.
00:42:04He wants you to stay, you know.
00:42:05How long will you be here?
00:42:06Well, it's not up to me.
00:42:07It's not up to me.
00:42:08Not up to me.
00:42:09It's not up to you, either.
00:42:10Please.
00:42:11I have a little announcement I'd like to make.
00:42:13Rachel and I are gonna get married.
00:42:15Oh, great!
00:42:17I'm so happy for you.
00:42:22You crazy maniac.
00:42:25You're out of your fucking mind!
00:42:30Daddy!
00:42:32Daddy?
00:42:41You didn't have to dump that on him.
00:42:43He should be in a hospital.
00:42:45What is it, son?
00:42:47It started on its own.
00:42:49I didn't mean to.
00:42:51I was just thinking about the noise it made.
00:42:53Well, that's all it takes.
00:42:55If you think hard about something,
00:42:58you can make it happen.
00:43:00But I couldn't stop it.
00:43:02I tried.
00:43:03Look.
00:43:04I tried.
00:43:05I tried.
00:43:06Look.
00:43:07I tried.
00:43:08I tried.
00:43:09You'll be able to do lots of things.
00:43:11Don't be frightened.
00:43:12Use it when you need it.
00:43:13What for?
00:43:14Well, you'll know when the time comes.
00:43:16You'll feel it.
00:43:17Like when you were hurt by that car.
00:43:19I knew what was happening.
00:43:20Remember.
00:43:21It's our secret.
00:43:23We're a team, right?
00:43:24Right.
00:43:25Do you like Annalise?
00:43:26Perfect.
00:43:27It's just what we need.
00:43:29It's our secret.
00:43:31We're a team, right?

00:43:33Do you like Annalise?
00:43:35Perfect.
00:43:36It's just what we need.
00:43:38What do you say?
00:43:40But, uh, we mustn't damage her, OK?
00:43:42Living in here.
00:43:43Why don't seniors like
00:43:57him bring in?
00:43:59Living in here.
00:44:00Never minds.
00:44:01I'm still alcohol.
00:44:03I don't know.

00:44:06I am.
00:44:07W BECKWICK GAWDIA.
00:44:08I think this belongs to your son.
00:44:34Oh, God, Harry.
00:44:35It appeared in my supper.
00:44:38How did it get there?
00:44:39I'm not interested.
00:44:40Clearly, your son is not responsible enough to look after animals.
00:44:44Anyway, it's ridiculous keeping a snake as a pet.
00:44:52I'm sorry.
00:44:56She's just a stupid woman.
00:45:08Tony.
00:45:09No.

00:47:15Oh, don't push me.
00:47:18Letting him stay isn't going to help.
00:47:19And it won't do Tony any good either.
00:47:24Hello.
00:47:26When he left, I knew exactly what I'd say to him if he came back.
00:47:29And what I felt.
00:47:32And now I don't know.
00:47:36That's how you feel. What the hell am I doing here?

00:49:47If I hear another squeak out of you tonight, I'll be very angry.
00:49:51Do you understand?
00:49:52Yes, Mum.
00:49:55That's her again. I hate her.

00:53:46Why don't you speak to me?
00:53:47Oh!
00:54:17Do you remember when that was taken?
00:54:24I just painted the bedroom ceiling.
00:54:27You can see the paint in my hair.
00:54:28Look.
00:54:29I can't remember who took it.
00:54:31I did.

00:55:03Oh, thanks.
00:55:08Yes, well, thank you for phoning.
00:55:11Annalise, could you take the stuff that's ready to the cleaners?
00:55:14That way we'll get some of it back by this afternoon.
00:55:17Don't you want me to take this?
00:55:19No, I haven't finished with it yet.
00:55:21And I'll finish the stuff in the bedroom, too.
00:55:24Okay.
00:55:25See you later.
00:55:30Come on, Tony, let's go.
00:55:31Who's this?

00:55:37I don't know.

00:55:44You must know who it is.
00:55:46She's probably worried about you.
00:55:49And this?
00:55:54I mean, what day was this?
00:55:57Whose boat?
00:55:58Well, maybe it isn't my jacket.
00:56:01Or your money?
