00:00Salom to all, and welcome. Hear, O Israel, the Eternal is our God, the Eternal is one.
00:19And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your soul.
00:26your possessions. Perhaps I dreamed of doing this story in a different way, narrating
00:34with my own voice, but circumstances have led me to find another way to serve the
00:39one true God. The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the God of Moses and the
00:48God of Yeshua. My speech has deteriorated greatly, but that doesn't mean my message should be silenced.
00:57On the contrary, if God has led me along this path, it is because He wants me to do so,
01:03and I trust it will be a blessing. Like, subscribe, comment, and share my videos,

01:25Israel. If you'd like to give me a tzedakah, may God bless you always. Give this video a like and

01:41Parasá Koraj, complete study. Meaning, bald or shaved, name of the rebel leader.
01:52Biblical portion, numbers 16, 1 to 18, 32.
01:561. Full text of the Parasha, translation from the Masoretic Hebrew.
02:10Numbers 16, 1 to 18, 32.
02:15And Korah the son of Issar, the son of Kout, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, took
02:22and On the son of Peleb, of the children of Reuben. And they rose up against Moses with two hundred
02:29Fifty men of the children of Israel, princes of the congregation, of those of the
02:34counsel, men of renown. And they gathered together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them,
02:41Enough of you. For the whole congregation, all of them, are holy, and in their midst
02:49is Adonai. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the congregation of Adonai?
02:57When Moses heard this, he fell face down. And he spoke to Korah and all his followers,
03:04Saying, tomorrow Adonai will show who is his, and who is holy, and he will bring him near
03:10him, and whomever he chooses, he will bring near to himself. Do this, take censers, Korah
03:18and all his company, and put fire in them, and put incense before Adonai tomorrow,
03:24and the man whom Adonai chooses, he will be holy. And enough of you, you sons of
03:32Levi. Moses said to Korah, "Listen now, you sons of Levi. It is a small thing for you that the God of Israel
03:40He has separated you from the congregation of Israel, bringing you near to Himself to minister in
03:46the service of the tabernacle of Adonai. And stand before the congregation to
03:52minister to them? And do you also seek the priesthood? Therefore, you and all your followers
04:00You are the ones who gather together against Adonai, for what is Aaron, why do you murmur against him?
04:07Then Moses sent and called Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, but they answered,
04:14We will not go there. Is it not enough that you have brought us from a land flowing with milk and honey,
04:21to make us die in the desert, but also to rule over us imperiously?
04:27Have you not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us great lands and
04:34vineyards? Will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not go up. And Moses was very angry,
04:44and said to Adonai, do not look upon their offering, nor have I taken a donkey from them, nor any of them
04:51I have done wrong. And Moses said to Korah, You and all your company, appear before the Lord tomorrow,
04:59You and them, and Aaron. And take each of you his censer, and put incense in them, and come near.
05:07before Adonai each one with his censer, two hundred and fifty censers, and you and Aaron,
05:14each with his censer. And they took each his censer, and put fire in them,
05:21and they poured incense into them, and stood at the door of the tabernacle of meeting with Moses and
05:28Aaron. And Korah gathered all the congregation against them to the door of the tabernacle of
05:34meeting, and the glory of Adonai appeared to all the congregation. And Adonai spoke to Moses and Aaron,
05:42saying, Separate yourselves from this congregation, and I will consume them in a moment. And they bowed down
05:51upon their faces, and said, God, God of the spirits of all flesh, is not one man the
05:58who sinned? Why are you angry with the whole congregation? And Adonai spoke to Moses, saying,
06:06Speak to the congregation and say to them, Separate yourselves from around the tent of Korah, Tathan, and Abiram.
06:13Then Moses got up and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the elders of Israel followed him.
06:21And he spoke to the congregation, saying, Depart now from the tents of these wicked men,
06:28and do not touch anything of theirs, lest you perish in all their sins.
06:33And they separated from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram all around, and Dathan and Abiram went out and
06:41They placed them at the doors of their tents, with their wives, their children and their little ones.
06:46And Moses said, By this you shall know that Adonai has sent me to do all these things, and that I did them not.
06:55of my own free will. If these die as all men die, and if they are visited as
07:03all men, then Adonai has not sent me. But if Adonai does something new, and the earth opens
07:11their mouth and swallow them up with all their things, and they go down alive to Sheol, then you will know
07:18that these men provoked the Lord. And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking all these words,
07:25the ground opened up under them. And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up,
07:33to their houses, to all the men of Korah, and to all their possessions. And they, and all that they had,
07:41They went down alive to Sheol, and the earth covered them, and they perished from among the congregation.
07:49And all Israel that were round about them fled at their cry, for they said,
07:56Lest the earth swallow us up too. Fire also came out from before the Lord and consumed the 250
08:03men who offered incense. And Adonai spoke to Moses, saying, Give to Eleazar and
08:11son of Aaron the priest, that they take the censers from the midst of the burning, and scatter the fire far away
08:18from there, because they are sanctified. The censers of these sinners against their own souls,
08:25and they shall make of them spread plates to cover the altar, because they were presented before
08:31Adonai, they are sanctified. And they shall be for a sign to the children of Israel. And Eleazar the priest took the
08:41bronze censers with which they had offered those who were burned. And they held them out to
08:47to cover the altar, as a memorial for the children of Israel, so that no stranger who is not of
08:54the descendants of Aaron come near to offer incense before Adonai. So that it may not be like
09:01Korah and his entourage, as Adonai had told him through Moses. The next day, all the
09:08The congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying, You have given
09:15death to the people of Adonai. And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered together against Moses and Aaron,
09:22They looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation, and behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
09:29Adonai. And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of meeting. And Adonai spoke to Moses,
09:38saying, Depart from among this congregation, and I will consume them in a moment. And they bowed down
09:46upon their faces. And Moses said unto Aaron, Take the censer, and put it upon the fire of the altar, and put
09:54incense, and go quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them, for the wrath has gone out
10:00from before the Lord. The plague has begun. Then Aaron took the censer, like Moses
10:09He said, and ran into the midst of the congregation, and behold, the plague had begun among the people,
10:15and he put incense and made atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living,
10:23and the plague ceased. And those who died in that plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred,
10:30without the dead from the matter of Korah. Then Aaron returned to Moses at the door of the tabernacle
10:37of the congregation, when the plague had stopped. And Adonai spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the
10:45children of Israel, and take from them a rod for each house of their fathers, from all their princes,
10:52twelve rods according to the house of their fathers. And you shall write each man's name upon his rod.
10:59And you shall write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi, for every householder of his fathers' houses
11:07shall have a rod. And you shall put them in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I am
11:14I will reveal to you. And it shall come to pass, that the man whom I shall choose, his rod shall flourish, and I will cause to cease from
11:22before me the complaints of the children of Israel, with which they murmur against you. And Moses spoke to
11:30the children of Israel, and all their princes gave him rods, each prince according to his houses
11:36paternal, twelve staves, and Aaron's rod was among their staves. And Moses put the staves
11:44before Adonai in the tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses came to the
11:52tabernacle of the testimony, and behold, the rod of Aaron of the house of Levi had sprouted and cast
11:58flowers, and produced almonds. Then Moses brought out all the rods from before the Lord to all the
12:06children of Israel, and they saw it, and took each man his rod. And Adonai said to Moses, Return the rod
12:15of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept for a sign to the rebellious children, and to put an end to their sins.
12:22complaints from before me, so that they may not die. And Moses did so, as Adonai commanded him, so he did.
12:31Then the children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, behold, we die, we perish,
12:38we all perish. Whoever comes near, whoever comes near the tabernacle of Adonai, will die.
12:48We shall all perish in the end. And Adonai said to Aaron, you and your sons, and your father's house with you,
12:57You will bear the sin of the sanctuary, and you and your children with you will bear the sin of your
13:02priesthood. And your brothers also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, bring them near to you,
13:10and that they may join you and serve you. But you and your sons with you shall serve before the tabernacle.
13:18of the testimony. And they shall keep what you command, and the charge of the whole tabernacle, but they shall not come near
13:26to the holy vessels or to the altar, lest they and you die. Therefore they shall be joined together,
13:34with you, and they shall be over the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle,
13:40No stranger shall come near you. And you shall have the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the
13:48altar, so that there will be no more wrath upon the children of Israel. Behold, I have taken your brothers
13:56the Levites from among the children of Israel, given to you in the presence of Adonai, to serve in the
14:02ministry of the tabernacle of meeting. You, therefore, and your sons with you, shall keep your priesthood
14:10in all matters pertaining to the altar, and within the veil, and you shall minister. I have given you as a gift the
14:18service of your priesthood, and the stranger who comes near shall be put to death. And Adonai spoke to Aaron,
14:26Behold, I have also given you the care of my offerings. All the consecrated things of the
14:33I have given them to you, O children of Israel, as a sign of anointing, and to your children as a perpetual statute.
14:40This you shall have of the most holy things, of the offerings made by fire, all their offerings,
14:46all their sin offering, and all their sin offering, and all their guilt offering which they
14:52They will present me. Most holy things will be for you and your children. In the most holy place
15:00You shall eat them, every male shall eat them, holy things shall be yours. This shall be yours,
15:08the offering of their gifts, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel, I have given it to you
15:14given, and to your sons and your daughters with you, by a perpetual statute. All clean in your house
15:21He will eat it. All the best of the oil, and all the best of the new wine and the wheat, the firstfruits
15:28of them, which they will give to Adonai, I have given to you. The firstfruits of all things of
15:35Their land, which they will bring to Adonai, will be yours, all clean in your house will eat them.
15:43Everything consecrated by vow in Israel will be yours. Everything that opens the womb in all flesh,
15:50What they offer to Adonai, both men and animals, will be yours, but you will make it
15:56redeem the firstborn of man. Likewise you shall redeem the firstborn of any unclean animal.
16:02And those who are redeemed from a month old you shall redeem, according to your valuation, for the price of five
16:10silver shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty shekels. And the firstborn
16:17of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, you shall not redeem, sanctified
16:24They shall sprinkle his blood upon the altar, and burn his flesh, an offering made by fire for a sweet savour.
16:31to Adonai. And his flesh will be yours, like the waved breast and like the right leg will be
16:38yours. All the heave offerings of the holy things which the children of Israel offer to
16:45Adonai, I have given them to you, and to your sons and to your daughters with you, as a perpetual statute.
16:52It is a perpetual covenant of salt before the Lord for you and your descendants with you. And the Lord
17:00He said to Aaron, "You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any part among them. I am
17:07your portion and your inheritance among the children of Israel. And behold, I have given to the children
17:14of Levi all the tithes in Israel for inheritance, for their ministry, because they serve in
17:20the service of the tabernacle of meeting. And the children of Israel shall not come near it any more.
17:26to the tabernacle of meeting, lest they bear sin and die. But the Levites shall do the
17:33service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity, a perpetual statute for
17:39your generations, and they shall have no inheritance among the children of Israel. For the Levites
17:46I have given you as an inheritance the tithes of the children of Israel, which they shall offer as an offering to Adonai.
17:51Therefore I have said to you, among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. And he spoke
17:59Adonai to Moses, saying, Thus you shall speak to the Levites, and say to them. When you take from
18:06the children of Israel the tithes that I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall present
18:12of them as an offering left to the Lord, a tenth of the tithes. And your offering will be reckoned to you.
18:19Mesida as grain from the threshing floor, and as the fruit of the winepress. So you shall also offer
18:26a half-measured offering to Adonai from all your tithes which you shall take from the children of Israel, and give
18:32Of them the offering of the Lord to Aaron the priest. Of all your gifts you shall offer
18:39every offering left to Adonai, of all the best of them you shall offer the portion that
18:44It must be consecrated. You will tell them, then, when you offer the best of them, it will be counted
18:52to the Levites as the produce of the threshing floor, and as the produce of the winepress. And you shall eat it in any
18:59place, you and your families, for it is your remuneration for your ministry
19:04in the tabernacle of the congregation. And you shall bear no sin for it, when
19:10you would have put aside the best of it, and you will not defile the holy things of the children
19:15of Israel, and you will not die.
19:202. Deep reflection on the Parasá.
19:24Central message.
19:25Parasah Korah confronts us with three serious sins.
19:311. Rebellion against divine authority, Korah challenges Moses and Aaron.
19:372. Unbridled ambition, they seek the priesthood without divine calling.
19:433. Collective murmuring, the people continue to criticize after the trial.
19:491. Ethical and spiritual principles.
19:531. The danger of spiritual envy, Midrash Tranguma.
19:59Korah was a Levite, numbers 16, 8 to 10, but he coveted the Aaronic priesthood.
20:072. God establishes authorities, Ramban.
20:11Moses did not defend himself alone, he let God vindicate his leadership, numbers 16, 5.
20:193. Intercession saves lives, Talmud, Yoma 87a.
20:26Aaron stopped the plague with incense, numbers 17, 11 to 13, symbol of prayer.
20:34Current application.
20:37Respect spiritual roles, First Corinthians 12, 18, we are not all called to the same thing.
20:44Beware of criticism, Proverbs 6, 16 to 19, God hates those who sow discord.
20:54Value intercession, like Aaron, we must pray for those who err.
20:593. Explanation from Messianic Judaism.
21:06Yeshua and the Parasah Korah.
21:091. Yeshua, the legitimate high priest, Hebrews 4, 14 to 16.
21:15Aaron was confirmed by the rod that flourished, numbers 17, 8, Yeshua by his resurrection.
21:252. The trial against the rebels.
21:28Judas, like Korah, perished for his ambition, Acts 1:18-20.
21:363. The superior intercession.
21:40Aaron stopped a plague, Yeshua saves us from eternal sin, Hebrews 7, 25.
21:48Key text, numbers 17, 10 in Hebrew.
21:51And Adonai said to Moses, Bring back Aaron's rod before the testimony, that it may be kept for a sign to the rebellious children.
22:03Conclusion, an eternal warning.
22:07The earth that swallowed Korah, numbers 16, 32, cries out today.
22:131. God does not tolerate rebellion disguised as spirituality, Jude 1, 11.
22:192. His mercy is still active, the flowering rod, numbers 17, 8, shows that He chooses and gives life.
22:303. Yeshua is our only hope, like Aaron's rod, He is the legitimate way to the Father, John 14, 6.
22:40Final reflection.
22:43We are questioning authorities established by God.
22:464. Coveting ministries that do not correspond to us?
22:51Coraz warns us, humility saves, ambition destroys.
22:575. As the psalmist said.
22:596. The sacrifice of God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise, Psalm 51:17.
23:107. May we learn to serve where God has placed us, with gratitude and reverent fear.
23:167. When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.
23:258. And before Him all the nations will be gathered, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats.
23:359. And he will set the sheep on his right, and the goats on his left.
23:4010. Then the King will say to those on his right, Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world.
23:5111. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took me in.
24:0011. I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.
24:0812. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
24:1813. And when we saw you a stranger, and took you in, or naked, and clothed you.
24:2514. Or when we saw you sick, or in prison, and went to you.
24:3015. And the King will answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.
24:4015. Matthew 25:31-34. This passage shows that final judgment is based on our actions toward others, and that true justice is reflected in practical love for those in need.
24:5616. Jesus takes up these ideas clearly, showing that fidelity to God is expressed by serving others with love and justice, without needing to see them physically.
25:0717. To serve the needy is to serve the Messiah, their representative.
25:1318. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
25:1919. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
25:2520. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
25:3021. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
25:3722. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
25:4323. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
25:4824. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
25:5425. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
26:0225. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you for My sake.
26:1126. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven.
26:1627. Source: Matthew 5:3-12. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
26:2827. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done.
26:3328. As it is in heaven, so it is on earth.
26:3729. Give us this day our necessary bread.
26:4029. And forgive us our debts.
26:4329. As we also forgive our debtors.
26:4730. And do not make us enter into temptation.
26:5130. But deliver us from evil.
26:5430. Amen.
26:56Fountain.
