00:06The fallen mogul was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution,
00:10but not guilty on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He was acquitted of the latter,
00:15the more serious charges in the case, and what federal prosecutors spent six weeks trying to
00:20prove to the jury to no avail. On Wednesday, the jury read their verdict after deliberating for
00:2612 hours and decided that the government's argument that he was at the center of a criminal
00:30enterprise run through his company, Combs Global, now renamed Combs Enterprises, was not used for
00:37nefarious purposes that ultimately led to the trafficking of multiple women. Before Combs was
00:42let out by court marshals, he knelt down in front of his chair and bowed his head in prayer,
00:47then turned toward the gallery and clapped, which led to an eruption of applause from the onlookers.
00:52For six weeks at the federal courthouse in downtown Manhattan, the all-women team of
00:57federal prosecutors presented dozens of witnesses and showed evidence that failed to convince the
01:02jury of New Yorkers that Combs was guilty of using his company as a criminal enterprise
01:07and conspiring with his associates and employees to traffic and abuse women. Two of those women,
01:12R&B singer Cassie and a woman using the pseudonym Jane, took the witness stand to deliver testimony
01:18detailing the abuse they suffered at the hands of Combs. For more on this story, head to THR.com
