00:01Iran's President Massoud Pezeshkian ordered the country to halt its cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog following a parliamentary bill on Wednesday.
00:12Last week, Iran's parliament voted unanimously on a law which suspends Iran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
00:22This means the IAEA will no longer be able to verify and monitor Iran's nuclear program.
00:30This comes after Israeli and U.S. airstrikes hit its nuclear facilities, according to state media.
00:38It is unclear how and to what extent the bill will be implemented.
00:42Following the attacks, U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran's nuclear program had been obliterated.
00:49But nuclear watchdog chief Rafael Grossi said Iran may be able to restart its uranium enrichment in a matter of months.
00:58On Sunday, Trump said that sanctions on Iran could be lifted if they agree to move forward in a peaceful manner.
01:06For its part, Iran has maintained its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.
