01:06yeah we've seen this with him billy a couple times in the last 13 months where he has an important he

01:14has an opponent in front of him but there are two or three really significant subplots to the fight

01:19that for a fighter who's not laser focused can become distractions

01:23it's easy for for a guy in a billy's position to think about september 13th to think about

01:29beyond september 13th trying to line himself up for canelo fights but mace sulecki is a very real

01:35live underdog again because he has that jab and he has that quick right hand and i believe though

01:39is not someone who ever takes an opponent like exactly always in the gym dedicated that's not an

01:44overlooked part that would happen against a guy like sulecki in terms of in believe but

01:49good timing here on the right hand and there was in billy i was about to say it was a measured start

01:53for him but he was just setting a trap he's ready for sulecki's jab and there it is again

01:57uh pull counter right hand he's landed it twice in a row now and it's a wrinkle that i don't know

02:04that sulecki was ready for because usually you see in billy bobbing weaving setting up shop six

02:09inches off your chest and get your work it's a great point he's boxed very well in this first round

03:38referee michael griffin is one of the most experienced referees in the game so you got to trust his

03:42judgment on that one and again when the guy gets to his feet he's standing at the end of the

03:48mandatory a count but he's not standing steadily what else can you do as a referee these are the rules he

03:54has a mandatory a count if he can't continue he can't continue it was really impressive from this

03:58performance also from mb leaves we talked about it would have been very difficult for sulecki to

04:02just you know withstand the first four or five rounds but it wasn't because of the activity level

04:06in this case is emily was really trying to set traps it was the accuracy right it was the tactics

04:22boom and sulecki never saw that jump because he was trying to throw a right hand at the same time
