The club has had its new gig, the Summerleaze, blessed ahead of its maiden row

00:00There will be three times when I sprinkle the boat, some of these.

00:07Once will be with holy water, the second one, each time will be the steer.

00:13Only on the outside, of course. We don't want you being sticky inside the boat, do we?

00:19So, when I say we don't holy water and sprinkle the beer each time,

00:23if you could say, bless this boat each time, that would be amazing.

00:30So, Almighty God who guided Noah in the building of the ark and calmed the raging sea,

00:38we call upon you to bless those who have prepared this boat for service

00:43and to protect and preserve those who are aboard and power her.

00:48Surround them with your loving care.

00:51So, I call upon us to pray for God's blessing on this boat.

01:00May God the Father bless you.

01:07Bless her.

01:11May Jesus Christ bless her.

01:18Bless her.

01:19Bless her.

01:20Bless her.

01:21Bless her.

01:22Bless her.

01:23And may the Holy Spirit bless her.

01:30And so, if you know it, we'll say together the Lord's Prayer over this boat.

01:31Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

01:57And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

02:03And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

02:09And so, may the road rise up to meet you.
