00:00Spaghetti is my absolute be-all-end-all. Like, I could never tire of eating this.
00:06Mmm, it's delish.
00:10My name is Jem Lester. I am a private caterer from Melbourne and I run Good Food Things.
00:16I started cooking in lockdown doing recipe development and word of mouth kind of spread it out there and now I do it almost every weekend.
00:25I come down to the beach and visit my grandma weekly. She is the biggest vibe.
00:31Her and I cook together and have a glass of wine and debrief on the week. It's just such a nice way to spend time together.
00:38Which one did you roll out? This one? Yeah, not very well. I haven't done much. No!
00:42My grandma and I are going to make spicy sausage pasta. It is the one that my family and my friends do request most of the time.
00:50Okay, it's ready. The way that I cook is very simple, so relying on really fresh produce and great quality is so important.
00:58The high quality ingredients can really shine. I'm going to add this, Nan, to make it a bit richer.
01:03My grandma is an amazing cook. She would encourage me to try things in the kitchen.
01:09Can you taste it? Delish? Good.
01:13Pasta and a glass of wine is one of the greatest combinations that could happen to a person.
01:18So to make it for someone else and to share it with them just feels very wholesome.
01:24It is as good as yours. I think it's better.
01:26Perfect for you to look.
