Post their comments went viral for all wrong reasons, All India Trinamool Congress ‘unequivocally disassociated itself from their statements’. Taking to ‘X’ AITC condemned the TMC leaders’ comments and reaffirmed its stance of ‘zero tolerance for crimes against women’. Soon after AITC posted its statement on ‘X’, TMC MP Mahua Moitra reposted it while calling out the ‘misogynistic’ comments of two prominent leaders. “Misogyny in India cuts across party lines…” Fierce Mahua, known for her cut-throat opinions wrote in the post on ‘X’.
