00:01:33This is apropos for the fifth anniversary of SmackDown.

00:01:37And how about this match made by general manager at Theodore Long last week?

00:01:52The big show in action for the first time in five months, teaming with Eddie Guerrero

00:01:56versus Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns, what a main event on SmackDown tonight.

00:02:03I still don't understand why this has become personal between Paul London and Billy Kidman.

00:02:31Last week, Billy Kidman came out here.

00:02:33I asked him point blank why he twinked, why he walked out on London, the tag team title.

00:02:38Billy Kidman, well, he blamed the fans.

00:02:44What kind of animals are you?

00:02:50And then Paul London, of course, came out to confront Billy Kidman, asking for answers.

00:02:54And I believe Paul London deserves answers.

00:02:59When one asked Billy Kidman what Kidman had to say about his actions.

00:03:02Kidman said, I have nothing to say to you.

00:03:04Then came the slap, and I couldn't believe what happened after this.

00:03:07Yeah, Billy Kidman, what he's been making a living out of lately.

00:03:10And that's quitting, walking away.

00:03:12Paul London wants an explanation, and the guy deserves it.

00:03:16It's Billy Kidman.

00:03:17Look at his face right here.

00:03:18This is tonight.

00:03:19He doesn't look like he's in the game.

00:03:20He doesn't want to be here.

00:03:21It's the fifth anniversary of SmackDown.

00:03:22He looks dejected, and he's hurt, I guess.

00:03:24He's got emotional problems.

00:03:25I don't know what his deal is.

00:03:27And from Austin, Texas, up 200 pounds, Paul London.

00:03:35Paul London all fired up.

00:03:36I believe this situation with Billy Kidman all tied to the shooting star press in which

00:03:40he injured Chavo Guerrero.

00:03:42This emotional distress that that injury has brought about on Billy Kidman.

00:03:46And Kidman said last week during that interview he didn't want to injure any more superstars,

00:03:50that he didn't want to be responsible for ending a superstar's career,

00:03:53not allowing them to feed their families.

00:03:56Well, and Billy Kidman then calling the fans, the SmackDown fans,

00:03:59the fans of the WWE, calling them bloodthirsty.

00:04:02Come on.

00:04:03They pay the bills.

00:04:04I mean, they want to see action.

00:04:05And that's what you're gonna get now.

00:04:06You're gonna get Paul London now.

00:04:07If Kidman's got no choice, he's gotta fight now.

00:04:09It's a match.

00:04:10Well, it seemed like Kidman's feelings were hurt last week.

00:04:12And look at the different dichotomy in this match.

00:04:15As London fired up, ready to go, Billy Kidman, his head doesn't appear to be in this.

00:04:19Well, maybe once London starts whacking him around a little bit, Kidman will get his head in the game.

00:04:23Come on, Kidman, come on, put your hands up, Kidman.

00:06:45Losing a lot of blood there, but nice boot for the face.

00:06:48Paul London looking to take it to the United States Champion.

00:06:51And I'll tell you this, Paul London, and he's showing it in the past.

00:06:55He's got a ton of guns.

00:06:56He's got a busted nose, though, I think, called from that back elbow earlier by Booker.

00:07:00And hung up on the top rope, Paul London being picked apart right now.

00:07:03Well, you gotta figure Booker might have been toggled in that nose or face area at the top rope.

00:07:07And you also have to figure that Paul London may not be in the emotional state right now to compete against the United States Champion.

00:07:14And you hear these loud Cena chants here in Phoenix.

00:07:16But, you know, to Paul London's credit, he wasn't prepared to come out here and fight, you know, Booker T.

00:07:22Booker T came out unannounced.

00:07:23Paul London was in a set match with Billy Kidman.

00:07:26So, I mean, let's check out how Paul London got his nose busted here.

00:07:31I think it was the elbow.

00:07:33Watch this.

00:07:34Bam!

00:07:35Oh, yeah.

00:07:36Hello, elbow.

00:07:37High elbow right to the nose.

00:07:38And listen to Paul London.

00:07:39Look at Paul London.

00:07:41No quittling, though.

00:07:44It's a graphic scene, but it's a contact sport in the same pretty, same ballet.

00:07:52And Paul London's in pain is in the surfboard-like maneuver by Booker T.

00:07:57And the United States Champion continuing the pressure.

00:08:01Well, as far as Booker T's concerned, Paul London is probably John Cena to Booker T here tonight.

00:08:10And look at Paul London!

00:08:11A great mule kick right to the chest of Booker T.

00:08:26probably still would be champion if his partner Kidman didn't walk out of the match.

00:08:30Well, Booker T's some credit for, you know, walking some action tonight.

00:08:37And look at this.

00:08:38That's a drop shot by Paul London.

00:08:40And there's an incinerator in the back of the head.

00:08:45And the champion's in trouble.

00:08:46I'm so impressed with this kid, he can win it, Cole.

00:10:56Oh, absolutely kicking it off strong right there, but Paul, let's talk about Heidenreich.

00:10:59I want to talk about what happened last week with you and Heidenreich.

00:11:01It's been an emotional week.

00:11:02I don't need to talk about Heidenreich, but you want to talk about Wilde?

00:11:05There's probably been no superstar as Wilde in the history of SmackDown than one man.

00:11:13The WWE SmackDown throwback, celebrating five years of laying the SmackDown.

00:11:21One of my favorite SmackDown moments actually happened after we went off the air.

00:11:25As it become the custom, The Rock would entertain the fans, and then I would come out and somehow

00:11:31manage to mess it all up for him.

00:11:33And in this case, when The Rock was doing his mannerisms, his sunglasses dropped somewhat unceremoniously to the canvas.

00:11:42If you smell what The Rock...

00:11:55And they just sat there, and it seemed like an eternity.

00:11:58But I realized The Rock wasn't going to pick up the glasses, and if they were going to get off the canvas, I was going to have to do it.

00:12:04So I just picked them up, handed them to The Rock.

00:12:07He looked at me and said,

00:12:09The Rock, thank you for that.

00:12:11And then he went about continuing his thread as if nothing had ever happened.

00:12:16If you smell what The Rock is cooking.

00:12:24Another one of my favorite SmackDown moments was when Mankind went over an incredible transformation.

00:12:30I think you know the guy!

00:12:32His name is Cactus Jack!

00:12:35Triple H looked like he'd seen a ghost.

00:12:37Oh no, it can't, it can't be.

00:12:39Cactus Jack hammered away on the champion!

00:12:42Mick Foley is more vicious, more dangerous than Everking!

00:12:45Baby!

00:12:46It was one of those moments you can never duplicate.

00:12:49Ha ha, that was cool!

00:12:53Well check this out Cole!

00:12:55Tonight, Rey Mysterio finally gets a shot at the Cruiserweight Championship!

00:22:58Rey Mysterio shoulder first into that steel post, and suddenly Spike Dudley with his Cruiserweight

00:23:04title on the line is in control of the challenger.

00:23:07Sure is, there's no giving that steel post, and now Spike, you know how he's gonna pinpoint

00:23:12that shoulder, that rotator cuff.

00:23:14And Spike's father, the Dudleys have been kicked out of the arena by the referee, but Spike

00:23:18might not need Bubba Ray and D-Von.
