00:00Lads, I know you've answered a lot of questions, but what's the week been like?
00:03No, it's been unreal. I'm full of adrenaline right now, honestly.
00:07They're supporting to see that, to see your queue.
00:10I'm feeling belief. Belief right now. Belief we're going to do something big this season.
00:15That's why you're doing this, really, isn't it?
00:16Exactly, yeah.
00:17Yeah, it's just to push it out. It's all about awareness.
00:20It's like new ideas, new innovation, bringing Preston together,
00:24bringing other fans together, do you know what I mean?
00:26And making it fun as well and full of energy.
00:28And I just think that's what something like Preston needed.
00:31And, you know, we've got a van there that's been in the flag market since 1955.
00:35Preston business. We're Preston born and bred.
00:38We've been a mascot of a Preston fan.
00:40Paulie was a mascot with a Joey Garner, Wondergold.
00:44Basically, we've got Preston in our blood.
00:46Yeah.
00:47We love it.
00:47The potential of the club's huge, isn't it?
00:49Yeah. Hopefully, hopefully, yeah.
00:52And we'll just do our bit, you know what I mean?
00:55But at the end of the day, we just love doing it as well.
00:57We love giving back.
00:58We love, like, doing the activations.
01:00I mean, like, when was the last time you saw kids and people and families?
01:05It's never heard of.
01:06And just to see all this now, it's unreal.
01:09Have you taken the shirts off this week or not?
01:11No.
01:11It's stuck to me.
01:12It's stuck to me.
01:13I know you've tweeted about it, but there's no orange on there, is there?
01:16No.
01:16It's red.
01:17And for anyone who doesn't know, there's history to that, isn't there?
01:19You don't want to change the...
01:21Yeah, it's the tram colour.
01:22So, we've got the old hot potato tram over there with the pickwick coven, which is red
01:26again and gold on there.
01:281955, so it's...
01:29It's what Keith started.
01:33We want his colours on his time.
01:36He's a true Preston legend and we want his colours.
01:39What were your early North End memories watching the team?
01:41I remember the beast.
01:45John Parker?
01:46John Parker, yeah.
01:47I was thinking you could do something with him.
01:48Yeah.
01:49Because people said, John, just pretend there's a pie in the net, we can do it with a cheese
01:54and beans.
01:54Pretend there's a cheese and beans in there.
01:56I think the best memory of Preston North End for me was when I was a mascot.
02:02That was an unbelievable day.
02:03I remember we were losing 1-0 against Robberham and Joey Scarno scored that wonder goal.
02:10Yeah, it was unreal.
02:11That celebration, yeah.
02:12On the chest, knee down, bang.
02:15Yeah, it'd be crazy.
02:16Unreal.
02:16Was it easy to sort?
02:17I know you won't be able to say too much, but how did it come about?
02:20I know you were asked just then.
02:21Well, obviously we've been Preston North End.
02:23My dad's been a season ticket for 50 years.
02:25Like, absolutely.
02:26And we've been, like, born and bred in Preston and we've got, you know, over, like, we've
02:31got, like, 7 million followers.
02:34So, you know, we've always wanted to do something with the club and to get this opportunity,
02:40it's unreal, do you know what I mean?
02:41So, we put our ideas forward and the club were like, you know, let's try something new,
02:48let's do it.
02:49And, you know, 400, 500 people have turned up for the launch of the kit as well.
02:55And we've got activations out here.
02:57So, this is just the start of something.
02:59And we've got some really good, wicked plans.
03:02And it's all to do with Preston and the community and that.
03:05Did the TikTok stuff come naturally to you to do, you know, that confidence in front of
03:09the camera?
03:09Because it's been massive for you, hasn't it?
03:11It's funnily enough, it was actually my dad that started the TikTok.
03:14Yeah.
03:14So, he started the TikTok.
03:16He got up to 60,000 followers.
03:18Quite quickly, or?
03:20Yeah, quite quickly, yeah.
03:21And he was, like, dancing in the taram, do you know those, like, dad dances?
03:24And we were like, oh, no.
03:26So, I quit my job.
03:27Harley was working with my dad on it.
03:29Took the risk and we're just like, you know what?
03:31Dad, what we'll do is we'll build a global brand, but we want to inspire the younger generation.
03:36Hard work, passion and energy, you can achieve anything.
03:40And even from a potato.
03:41Yeah.
03:41And it's what we did.
03:43And we got up every morning, hard work.
03:44Seven videos a day we started with, like, giving back.
03:47We started off with a pot of parched peas.
03:51That was one of our first ever videos, giving out to someone for free.
03:54And then we're here now, like, giving out 2,000 potatoes.
03:58It's unreal.
03:58You mentioned inspiration for, like, young lads and girls in the city.
04:03They come up to you, can't they?
04:03And what would you say to them if they don't know what to do with their lives and stuff?
04:06Well, I just say, one thing that I always say is attitude is more important than ability.
04:12Like, Harley was at college and he struggled.
04:16He has, like, ADHD.
04:17He's got dyslexia and dyspraxia.
04:18And he wasn't very academic.
04:20And he was more hands-on.
04:21And he got into the tram and he found it, do you know what I mean?
04:24And as long as you put the effort into something and your ability, yeah.
04:29Just don't give up.
04:31Yeah.
04:31Just don't give up.
04:32And if you've got an idea and a vision, go for it.
04:35And loads of people have ideas and they never go through with it.
04:39If you have that idea, you're halfway there.
04:41Yeah.
04:41Just go for it and just be really positive all the time and have the right attitude.
04:46You can achieve anything.
04:47Yeah.
04:47Can you give us a flavour for the season?
04:48Any plans you've got?
04:49Will you be here on match days and stuff?
04:51Oh, we've got lots.
04:52We have got a lot.
04:53Yeah, we've got lots, like, planned.
04:55We're not going to give our secrets away.
04:57Yeah.
04:58But, yeah, it's going to be really exciting for the club, really exciting for Preston.
05:01And, you know, we're just going to bring the energy.
05:04And have you seen the second and third kits?
05:05That's going to be nice.
05:07Ooh.
05:10Not asking the colour, but fans of them, yeah?
05:12Yeah, yeah, yeah.
05:13They are nice, yeah.
