00:00The U.S. has approved $30 million for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,
00:06and that's really despite concerns about daily violence.
00:09The U.N. said at least 410 Palestinians have been killed seeking food since May.
00:17Is the Trump administration turning a blind eye to the suffering in Gaza
00:22and what the GHF Foundation is accused of committing here?
00:26That's a good question, and I would say President Trump, in my mind, and historically speaking,
00:32he's always just wanted peace, stop the conflict, stop the bloodshed,
00:36and focus on the people and serving the people.
00:38And so I think for President Trump's lens, that's exactly what he desires.
00:43And I think if there's an opportunity to provide directly to the civilians
00:48and those that are suffering the most, one should.
00:51It is a humanitarian issue, and I think political differences aside,
00:57I think it's all about the people.
00:59And I think President Trump has been very consistent in that message,
01:02as he was, well, in his first term.
01:05We could also say he was that same message while he was in the Middle East just about a month ago,
01:10and also again here recently.
01:12So for him, he wants to stop the wars, he wants to stop the conflict,
01:15and focus on the people and uplifting and encouraging humanitarian.
01:20But at the same time, it's hard to do that when you have bad actors who are not serving the people
01:26and only focusing on themselves, if you would, and their own mission.
01:30So I think President Trump continues to desire the peace, as many of examples,
01:36obviously with the Ukraine-Russia war, with the Palestinian-Israel war,
01:42the short war, of course, between Iran and Israel.
01:45We could talk about Pakistan and India.
01:48So there's a lot of examples of President Trump seeking peace,
01:51and that remains his focus, and of course, supporting the people.
