Anything to do with the delusional fringe infiltrating and getting into different levels of government, including public health, is a very bad thing for the people.  Not only do lives get put at risk (cult influence being a huge problem) due to quackery being pushed over life-saving medication, treatments and vaccines, but the general well-being of individuals also gets impacted.   People's rights get taken away. Batshit conspiracy theories get domination. Fact, evidence-based news and journalism gets pushed into shutting down. This is what the fringe want to happen.  Batshit conspiracy theories aren't real. Exit-cult counseling works and it helps people.
