00:00Welcome to the opening gala premiere of the Silver Screen Dreams Cafe and the 18th year
00:07of the I Will Tell International Film Festival.
00:10Movies have the power to transport us to new worlds, offer fresh perspectives and spark
00:17conversations.
00:19They can challenge, inspire and unite us in ways that few other mediums can.
00:27It's nice, it's got a sprinkling of stardust, it feels like Hollywood has come to Whittyshire
00:31and hopefully it's got a big impact on the community.
00:34With the screenplay that Mike had written, we thought we were going to cast it in a normal
00:38way.
00:39You'd normally raise a huge amount of money, you'd normally cast some high profile stars
00:45but that is not what happened.
00:47Mike and Becky came into the church and announced that anybody that wants to learn about film
00:52acting and behind the scenes and I just found me, I'm just giving up, yeah why not?
00:58We ended up doing bits of learning about film shots and things like that but just seeing
01:02the gold come out of these people was amazing.
01:05I'm happy to introduce the Silver Screen Dreams Cafe.
01:11We laughed so much throughout the whole thing.
01:18A lot of things came across, lots of love and just togetherness and that's what makes
01:24the film worse.
01:25I didn't want it to finish.
01:32I'm just blown away by the venue, I'm blown away by our amazing filmmakers and I'm blown
01:39away by Whittenshire and all the community stuff that just happened around this film.
01:43I thought it was amazing, I loved everything, I loved the actors and how they were performing
01:48I think.
01:49It was really good.
01:50This is just next level.
01:52I thought the movie was absolutely fantastic, very realistic.
01:56What came for me was the cast because they're unknown people not using more professionals
02:03but then it came across more natural and it was more powerful.
02:07I love the ethos behind it all of building people up through film.
02:11Yeah, I'm having fun at all.
02:13It'll inspire a lot of people, young kids, to watch that and think, I want to be a part
02:19of that.
02:20I don't know what we've been saying but it's nice to see people who haven't had a chance
02:23to act.
02:24To be in front.
02:25So I think it's, for our friends to watch it, it just makes it feel good really to watch
02:30it I think.
02:31It's very much a feel good film and then you kind of go with the journey, the story of the
02:34actors and what the message is about but I think it's very much a feel good film.
02:38We shall be recommending it and watching it again with our friends.
02:42I kind of, I found myself laughing at myself the whole time.
02:45I enjoyed every moment of making that feel and I'll be coming back to make it a number
02:49one.
