00:00Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
00:05The Dallas Mavericks welcome the second youngest first overall draft picks behind LeBron James.
00:10Cooper Flagg just 18 years old is officially a Dallas native and is excited and blessed to be.
00:16I think it's a blessing. Like you said, a lot of people in this position or the situation aren't, you know, granted this opportunity.
00:23So I just feel really blessed and grateful for the situation I've been given.
00:27And I'm just looking forward to being a spot.
00:29Head coach Jason Kidd and general manager Nico Harrison said they are ready to put Cooper in uncomfortable situations now.
00:35They said he's great handling and bringing up the ball and he fits that win now mission.
00:40I'm excited about giving him the ball against the Lakers and see what happens.
00:46Let's get it started right off the bat.
00:49But, you know, I think just his poise, he's going to be successful for a long time.
00:55Next up is Summer League for Flagg as the Mavericks are scheduled to take on the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas on July 10th.
01:02For all things Mavericks, tune into Spectrum Cable Channel 15 Wednesdays and Thursday nights at 11 p.m.
01:07I'm Faith Knight and you've just been credentialed.
