During Friday's press briefing, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) answered questions about GOP calls to denaturalize Zohran Mamdani.

00:12There are now House Republicans who are explicitly calling for Zulhran Mamdani to be deported.
00:18They're calling for him to be denaturalized.
00:20What are your thoughts on Republicans making these cuts?
00:22That's disgusting.
00:24Yes.
00:25Senator, can you preview in as much detail as possible the amendments that Democratic
00:29Yeah, we're going to have amendments focused in five areas, not exclusively, but focused.
00:34One is the cuts to health care.
00:36The second is that it raises costs for Americans and at the same time loses lots of jobs.
00:42The third is how it gives huge tax cuts for billionaires.
00:48The fourth is corruption that the Trump administration is engaged in.
00:53And the fifth is the budget deficit.
00:56Not the budget deficit per se, as bad as that is, but it raises costs.
01:01It's going to raise your cost to buy a car, raise your cost to buy a home, raise your cost for a credit card.
