Petersfield's new police station opens

Donna Jones, Police & Crime Commissioner for Hampshire, cut the ribbon to Petersfield's new police station. She was accompanied by East Hants MP, Damian Hinds, senior police figures, mayor Cllr Chris Paige and key town figures for the grand opening on The Square.

00:34announce Petersfield's new police station open. In September 2016, sadly your old police station

00:44over the way closed. And today we are making history, but we are now giving you back what

00:50you have so desperately needed and asked for. I had a very comprehensive case put to me by

00:56Damien as the Member of Parliament and several of your brilliant councillors here who said

01:00we really need a police station back and a presence in East Hampshire, but particularly

01:04in the town of Petersfield. And I am delighted that it is here.
