00:00So Mike, more of us here and lots who could not make it, thank you so much for coming this evening,

00:04well thank you to you Jan for bringing back to Canfield where you spend all your days driving

00:10around. I hope you can see by looking around here how much you're appreciated by us and none of us

00:15want you to leave. We've all loved having you deliver our parcels over the years, always with

00:20a smile and a bit of gossip. It shows how much you're appreciated when you crash the every system

00:25down that night with all your five-star reviews. You've brought me lots of sheen and vintage orders

00:32and I'll be discreet when you know I'm hiding them from Mark, sometimes offering to deliver

00:36them to me when he's not here. You haven't achieved x-ray vision yet though when I constantly ask you

00:43what's that I've ordered? You reply to be honest it's usually some crap.

00:47I'm sure everyone here will agree that when you get an email from Everee saying that

00:57Mike is delivering your parcel you're relieved knowing your parcel is in safe hands and you will

01:01actually receive it. The thing is as soon as you walked in here the people you, well the people you

01:08went to, it was the dogs you went to. So I know all the dogs in the estate will miss seeing your

01:14van driving past, Pippa certainly will. I've been hearing some funny stories about you over the past

01:20few weeks, giving cookery lessons on doorsteps, yes Carly how to poach eggs, you borrowing ladders

01:28to get people back into their houses and I didn't realise this tonight and no one did when I've been

01:33gossiping, you're an ex-paratrooper and that's coming handy, chasing rabbits around gardens and

01:39getting them back to their owners and I know there'll be many more to hear this evening.

01:44About three weeks ago I asked on our Wimbledon Facebook page if anyone wanted to join in with

01:49a leaving present for you, lots of people said yes and I thought maybe we could have got you a

01:53small voucher for somewhere. This post then got shared across all of Canfield, it's blown our

01:59minds and it just shows how much you are loved and appreciated. Before we hand you your gift

02:04and personal messages that have come through with it, can we all raise a glass

02:09and say happy retirement Mike and here's to 2025, the year of our every parcel being kicked over the garden.

02:27So what we'd like is, we thought we'd get you a nice little post-it

02:35some sort, for this you need to help us open it, so it's a two-man job.

02:46So I'm going to open it and I'd like you to unravel it.
