Phil Mickelson says he doesn't want to rule out playing in the major in the future, citing his form in LIV

00:00So I said it's very possibly my last, and I think that's real.

00:05However, I also feel like I'm starting to play some good golf,

00:08and this year has been my best year on live.

00:12I've had three top six finishes and some opportunities to win.

00:14If I do that, play like that in some upcoming major championships,

00:18that could ultimately qualify me into another U.S. Open.

00:22So I don't want to say it's my last.

00:23I actually think I'm playing well enough that if I can play at the level

00:28I've played out out here in majors again,

00:31I'll finish high enough to get into a U.S. Open via that qualifying avenue.

00:37So I don't want to say that it is my last because I think I'm going to contend in the –

00:42I'm in the other three majors for a lot of years,

00:44and it could very well get me into the U.S. Open again.
