This tiny kitten chose the biggest, softest dog in the house to be her mom — and he’s the gentlest giant ever 💜🐾

Wendy the kitten is obsessed with George, a 135-pound Mastiff, and shows her love by constantly attacking his tail, snuggling under his chin, and following him everywhere 😹🦴 Their mom, Lindsay, shares the heartwarming story of how this unlikely duo bonded instantly, and how Wendy helped George heal after a heartbreaking loss ❤️‍

Their love story proves that family comes in all shapes and sizes — and sometimes the best therapy has fur and a wagging tail 💫

00:00He was found out in the open, lying on the ground, in an urban area.
00:09It's fairly common, unfortunately, with these guys.
00:13He was the smallest bush baby I've ever seen.
00:16He only weighed 9 grams when he came in.
00:19I always think of the tiny bush babies as little baby yodas,
00:23because they have enormous eyes and ears, and this big round face.
00:30As babies, they're almost bald, so they look quite alien-like.
00:38But he was a special case because he was so tiny,
00:41and we all kind of just fell in love with him when we first saw him.
00:44Initially, I was quite concerned because he was so small.
00:48He wasn't doing much. He slept most of the time.
00:52After about a week or two, he started growing really nicely.
00:56He almost doubled in weight, and he was drinking really well,
00:59and looking strong and moving around.
01:01So by that point, I felt a lot more optimistic that he was going to make it.
01:05He was alone for quite a while, which is unfortunate for them,
01:08because they are fairly social, and it's really good for them to have siblings to grow up with.
01:13Around two to three weeks old, he started getting more adventurous and exploring a bit more,
01:21and being willing to sniff and hop around a bit.
01:29Because they're primates, they have hands that look very similar to ours,
01:32but they've got very powerful hind legs.
01:34They can jump very far distances, especially for their small size.
01:38Once they reach a certain age, you can kind of see the light bulb go off,
01:42and they realise that this is something they can do.
01:46The second bush baby came, there was a bit of a risk initially of introducing them,
01:51and that pebble might be a bit too boisterous, but it was actually the other way around.
01:55He was a bit terrified of the new one.
01:57But within a couple of days, they were snuggling together.
02:01I'd already had pebble for about three months when he went to his soft release.
02:07We need time to adjust and learn skills like hunting insects before they can actually be fully released.
02:15So we put them up in a big enclosure outside in the bush.
02:21He's going to stay there over winter until the first grains come.
02:25He is now in a group of five, and they're all getting on very well.
02:29They all sleep together in a tiny little house during the day,
02:32even though they have lots of sleeping options.
02:37Once they go off in spring, they should form a little family group,
02:41and they should start breeding.
02:43They're food continue was too much of eating no part of the school,
02:53and they're all getting saved.
02:55Sometimes throughout, I lose some festivals to drive around potets,
02:56but sometimes even though people might be sleeping on theighp tires,
02:58it's not really cool.
02:59It's beloved.
03:01They were sleeping on making the city's miesz he they should try there,
03:02just may them פל jednak zer nahize who the city's map to the park сос mathias
03:03or telephone network diğer through the country's map to lots of pliers,
03:05they might be incredibly reasonable of paying the people!
03:07They're hoping to save him if they don't have jobs!
