Being the top pick in the NBA Draft brings sky-high expectations, and while his floor looks like that of a strong two-way contributor, the pressure to be a franchise savior is already on. They discussed what Flagg’s arrival means for the organization, what the realistic expectations should look like, and how Dallas needs to avoid putting too much on his shoulders too early.

00:47that could always happen but barring injury his worst level of play will be a good two-way player

00:54that you need on a title contender right that's the floor for him yes yes that's the floor

01:10the only thing that would derail him from being a good player yes what it remains to be seen if

01:14he'll be one of the best if he'll be a top 10 player in the league throughout his career but

01:17he will at the very least be a good player I agree um so that's the exciting part um you know and

01:23then that that's gonna be something that we are obviously keeping an eye on his entire career like

01:30unfortunately for Cooper like they are gonna and we are going to break down just about every single

01:36game like it's an NFL game in the in year one yeah you know that and I'm pretty sure we did that

01:43with Luca but I know we did uh and you know but Luca came out and I mean boy he came out

01:48red hot he did Luca still wasn't Luca the first year no because he was thinner and faster and able

01:56to dunk yeah and that led to like a shooting percentage it was like eight percentage points

02:01off his career average Luca his first year was he shot 42 percent from the field he averaged 21 points

02:08seven rebounds or almost eight rebounds and six assists and then obviously he a couple years later
