‘AI-Based CCTV, WhatsApp chatbot’ Puri Police ready for traffic management in ahead of Rath Yatra

Puri (Odisha), June 26, 2025 (ANI): Ahead of the Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, ADG Dayal Gangwar highlighted the advanced security and crowd management measures in place this year. An Integrated Command and Control Centre, equipped with a fully AI-based CCTV surveillance system, has been set up to monitor the yatra. A WhatsApp chatbot has also been launched to provide real-time updates on traffic and parking arrangements within Puri town, enabling devotees to plan their visit for a smooth and seamless darshan. Additionally, a dedicated communication team has been deployed to ensure efficient coordination throughout the event.
