“Manipur, China, unemployment…”, Congress’ Shama Mohamed slams BJP over emergency row

New Delhi, June 26, 2025 (ANI): Congress leader Shama Mohamed slammed BJP over emergency row, and asked why they don’t talk about what is happening in Manipur, or how much of our land has China taken. Reacting to Amit Shah’s remark on emergency, she said that there is an undeclared emergency imposed the country right now.

00:03One, we should always remember that after emergency,

00:07there was a free and fair election in 1977, let's not forget it,

00:11and the Janta Party and Coalition came to power.

00:22So that itself shows that people have rejected everything else

00:25except Mrs. Gandhi and they wanted the Congress Party back.

00:28And I fail to understand, why should we talk about that?

00:32Let us talk about what is happening.

00:34I want to know what is happening in Manipur.

00:36I want to know how much land China has taken.

00:38I want to know why there is huge unemployment.

00:41I want to know why journalists are put behind bars.

00:44I want to know why the BJP's members of parliament and deputy CM say

00:48they want to change the constitution of this country.

00:50I want to know why ED has a case against Ajit Pawar,

00:55investigates, but the minute Ajit Pawar joins the Bharatiya Janta Party,

01:00the minute Subindu Adhikari joins Bharatiya Janta Party,

01:02the minute Himata Biswasa Sarman joins Bharatiya Janta Party,

01:06everything is stopped.

01:07I want to know why ECI keeps quiet every time BJP leaders,

01:12including Amit Shah and Mr. Modi, violates the code of conduct.

01:16There is undeclared emergency in this country,

01:19and they have to answer for that.
