Victim IDs Update: Lake Tahoe boat capsizes, claims 8 lives

Eight people, including a DoorDash executive from San Francisco, died when their boat capsized on Lake Tahoe during rough weather, the El Dorado County Coroner reported. The victims, part of a group celebrating a birthday, included family members from Redwood City, friends from Lincoln and Auburn, and three others from New York. The 37-year-old executive leaves behind a wife and 7-month-old daughter. The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office has not released survivor details or confirmed life jacket use.
