00:00The Filipino cross-country pride Shagni Yaoyao has won silver medal at the 2025 Coupe du Japon International Kyoto, Yubune, held in Japan.

00:09The 28-year-old champ has proven her skills in the international stage after winning at the women's elite class and recording a time of 51 minutes and 39 seconds.

00:20She's also the only Filipina to get a podium finish following two Japanese stars who won a gold and a bronze medal.

00:26The three-time National Open champion is currently at number 95 in the world rankings with 413 points.

00:33Cebuana's star also aims to collect more points to qualify in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
