00:00Saudi Arabia has welcomed U.S. President Trump's ceasefire.
00:04The agreement, however, it does appear fragile.
00:08How concerning is this for the Middle East region?
00:12Thank you for having me and my greetings to you and to the viewers.
00:16Definitely you hit the nail on the point.
00:19The agreement is not even fragile.
00:21The agreement is just on the news.
00:24We need a solid agreement to define the role of Iran and Israel
00:29and how the treaty needs to look alike
00:32because we cannot afford in a one-year time, two-year time,
00:36maybe after Trump's time, another war will erupt in this region.
00:40So it needs to be redefined.
00:42It needs to be rewritten.
00:44And I think the way that we've seen the motto of President Trump today
00:48and his mood, that he is really willing to take this even further
00:53and he is basically today has put himself in the same distance
00:58between Iran and Israel in all his announcements,
01:03even when he didn't announce Israel by bombing Iran again
01:07or by actually praising them because they actually stopped the conflict
01:13and they are sticking to their guns right now.
01:16Also, he took it a step further by basically opening new markets to the United States.
01:22He mentioned that Iran is going to be a great trade partner in the future
01:27and it's a good signal.
01:31It's a stability for us in the region, for Saudi Arabia,
01:34which is very ambitious and they have a vision 2030,
01:37that it's been promoting the whole peace in the region
01:42and zeroing all their conflicts in the region.
01:45Again, you know, it needs to be redefined.
01:49It needs to be re-stressed.
01:50And I think everybody needs to come on a roundtable meeting.
