00:00Guys, behold, 2026 Nissan Armada Nismo. Take it all in. Because this is apparently a thing that

00:21people wanted, it exists now. Born of Nissan's heritage motorsport division, this is the first

00:26time a Nissan Armada has ever gotten the Nismo treatment. So, of course, we gotta check it out.

00:32Nismo, which is an abbreviation of Nissan Motorsports International, is Nissan's racing and performance arm.

00:40In the past, Nismo-ified cars have included the Nismo 350 and 370Z, GTR Nismo, Juke Nismo,

00:49Sentra Nismo, and Aria Nismo. Technically, the Patrol Nismo came first, which is essentially

00:55an Armada Nismo. But that rig was only for the Middle Eastern market and not for us. Anyway,

01:02on to the outside. The Nismo version of this car takes the Armada's already trucky good looks and

01:08enhances them. First and foremost, from the front here, you can tell there is an all-new blacked-out

01:12grille Nismo badge. And she wears a lovely shade of red lipstick all around, which is an always classic

01:18look. We recommend it highly. It's a Motor Trend top fashion tip, by the way. Moving down the side,

01:22we have bigger fenders, red brake calipers, as well as 22-inch forged wheels. This might make ride

01:28quality a little interesting, but that remains to be seen. Also, another badge, and there is air

01:34suspension at all four corners. And finally, moving to the back, there is this Nismo-exclusive spoiler,

01:40as well as this diffuser, as well as another badge. So that color scheme continues on the inside with

01:47these red leather quilted seat inserts, more Nismo badging on all of the headrests. But I also want

01:52to draw your attention to these adjustable side bolsters on the front seats for, you know,

01:59anything that life might throw at you.

02:03Regular Armadas make use of a twin turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that produces 425 horsepower and 516

02:12pound-feet of torque. The Nismo-fied Armada bumps that output up by 35 horsepower to make 460 on

02:19premium fuel. Things are also louder both inside and out, thanks to cabin amplifiers and a retuned

02:26exhaust system. The Armada Nismo will sit between the Pro 4X and Platinum Reserve trims. As Nissan's

02:34full-sized, body-on-frame offering, the Armada competes against the Toyota Sequoia as a big off-roader.

02:39However, the Nismo version adds a sporty option to the Armada lineup.

02:47So we still don't know how much the Armada Nismo will cost, nor how it will drive. But until then,
