Festivals: Top packing tips

What do you forget to pack when you go to a festival?

00:00Packing can be a bit of a pain but with some planning we're going to make it better and

00:07basically that's what that's what I'm here to do to help people to remember it doesn't have to be

00:11as bad as you think and I think the key thing for that is getting sorted in with as much time as

00:18possible now if you're off to Glastonbury like I am maybe we should have thought about this already

00:23but there's still time to get yourself sorted and I would say the the first thing first make

00:29yourself a list and that is for your outfits what you're gonna wear each day and no you don't need

00:34five extra outfits for it I promise you you don't need 20 pairs of pants either but also having a

00:40think about your toiletries your health bits because they're the stuff that you get a bit unstuck when

00:46you need them and you haven't got them it's just best to be fully prepared especially for stuff to

00:51do with weather as well so that would be my main go-to so just from a personal perspective do you

00:57have anything that you always forget but also on the other hand have something that you like outside

01:05of the basic essentials that you never forget to take with you that it's always going to be in your

01:10suitcase when you go away so one thing that I have forgotten for a festival before and I regretted it

01:16ever since was earplugs it's one of those things isn't it you don't really think about it until you get

01:21on site you go oh this is actually quite it's quite rowdy here how am I going to get my sleep so earplugs

01:27and an eye mask they're the things I think people can forget a lot of the time so make sure that is

01:33on your list as for me I cannot go anywhere without my dry shampoo I need that hair to be still looking

01:39as good as possible and often you can't make it to the shower can you so get yourself sorted with

01:45absolutely everything that you need one of the things I love as well once you've done this list

01:49you've got it for years to come you can just tweak it for whatever it is you have coming up especially

01:53festival wise and get yourself you know get all the bits that you need as soon as you can so you

02:00can pack them in your bag and see if they all fit it's actually way more about what you pack rather

02:05than having to need anything really super special one of the things that you probably have in your

02:09kitchen that I use a lot is a sandwich bag sandwich bags are great for you know when you need to work

02:14out how many liquids you can take through at the airport they're often a really similar size to

02:19those bags that you get when you arrive and this means that you can pre-pack if you want to buy a few

02:24bits just be quite clever about it and just buy the absolute necessity so

02:29you can just take advantage of time so far as this goes mostly serious and then check each other I
